So easy to use
August 25, 2011
When I set out to buy a trekking pole I look for two things: One is weight and the other is ease of use. This pole is lightest on the market and in terms of ease of use it is also the best. I tried other telescoping pole that you need to twist and turn to get the length right. It is annoying and takes forever to get it right. With this pole, you just buy the right length for your height and in two seconds, you are ready to go. It is that easy. Best trekking pole. Period.
Pros: Great design, Build quality, Performance, Ease of useUltra Distance=Ultra lightweight

When I unpacked these poles my first reaction was disbelief on how lightweight they really are. They weigh next to nothing, and collapse down really small. Easy to adjust velcro straps, which make it a cinch to dial in the right fit and feel, especially with gloves. I previously purchased a pair of the BD Contour Elliptic Trail Compact Anti Shock, which is a much beefier pole. I will still use these when I know I am going to be punishing a set of poles, because I just don't know how much punishment these ultra-lightweight poles can take, but so far, so good! I'll be giving them a workout soon on a 3 week section of the AT, so we'll see just what they can take!
Pros: Great design, Build quality, Performance, Ease of use
