I bought these for my husband, who says they're thicker than expected for a lightweight sock, but comfortable. If you're hard on socks like heis, probably not a great choice for running (they seem like they would not last as long). But he really likes them for everyday, nonrunning use.

BEST SOCK, YOU CAN'T GO WRONG!!!
These socks are my favorite......they dry fast, super comfy, and help keep me from getting hot spots on these extra sensitive feet I have. A little $$ but worth every penny! Altrec puts them on sale sometimes so stock up!

Very comfortable sock
I bought several pairs of socks but only one of these - I was hesitant due to the bamboo content (bamboo is a wood, would the fabric feel like wood fibers?) Turns out that this sock is very comfortable, both soft and with plenty of padding (would work well for a dayhike in low cut hiking shoes). My other concern was the low cut - would the upper seam clear the heel cup of my Merrell Chameleon shoes? Turns out the picture is deceptive - it clears the heel cup by a good inch.
One thing I really like about this sock, and Bridgedale socks in general, is the use of different weight fabrics in different areas. On the blue/silver sock, the dark blue at the toe, heel and bottom is a dense padding that provides plenty of cushion but does not compress like cotton. The silver fabric on the side is a lighter (has a soft cotton feel even though it isn't) and the top is a mesh fabric that allows the sock, shoe, and your foot to breath. It's a very comfortable and effective combination; I worked 10 hours building a deck and even though I was hot and sweaty, my feet never felt tired or damp.
In summary, this is a well designed and constructed sock for low-cut shoes, great value for the price and highly recommended!

Sadly, I got blisters.
I ran 9 miles in these socks on the trail, and had multiple blisters at the end. They are nice soft comfortable sock but they just don't breath as much as I hoped they would.

Very Comfotable
I'm impressed with these socks because they feel soft, keep my feet feeling dry, and provide noticeable cushioning. These days there's a lot of good sock brands out there but I've found that Bridgedale socks are the most durable. Therefore I'm looking forward to getting more than my money's worth out of the Bridgedale bamboo Lo Socks for men.

Nice all around sock
Ive worn these socks ten times now and they dont smell, bag out and they fit well. Maybe theyre not as cushioned as Bridgedales wool socks but I like them very much.

Softest socks I've ever worn
These socks are remarkable! Not only are they the softest I've ever worn but the perform well keeping me dry and cushioned. I expected less durability than wool, but have been very surprised by the durability and performance.
