Excellent comfort
It is amazing how something so thin can mean so much comfort for your feet. I never thought that by adding an extra layer to your footwear that it would actually make your hiking experience more cooler and comfortable. My feet stay more relaxed and fresh during a long hike. I wear these now for even the shortest hikes. In cool weather they help keep warm and they help stay cool in the hot weather. I recommend not hiking without them.

Better than wool liners
I'm a fan of wool socks, and I'd been using a Smartwool liner for a long long time. I don't like funky smell of anything synthetic, and wool does the trick. However, I've crossed over to synthetic for sock liner. The liner is super-thin and keeps my feet feeling much drier than my wool liner. My feet feel significantly drier and happier. I typically wear a Smartwool heavy PhD sock over this.
The Coolmax wicks away sweat, and the thick wool sock cushions and insulates. It's a perfect combo. I'm sold.

great for wicking
These liner socks are great for wicking sweat while hiking and keeping your feet dry. The socks are very comfortable and fit well. Combo these with bridgevale hiking socks for a awesome system.

I love these socks!
I use these year round, from working, to hiking, to just hanging out at home. They're great!

Socks are sweet!
The heal stays put and is a nice fit. The toe box at the front is big enough to be very comfortable without bunching under the toes. I use them in dress shoes all the way to my Sorel boots. Nice balance of comfort and function

not too shabby
I'm a fan of these socks (ok, liners); plain and simple. Perspiring feet is my issue and these socks truly wick that moisture.

Best you can buy
Almost Bridgedale socks will be winners. These are especially so. They're not often on sale, so if you find one, go for it!

Blister Free Bliss
After investing in over a dozen different wool socks to prevent serious blisters while hunting very rocky terrain, I decided to give these a whirl and have never been more pleased with a sock purchase. The long treks that were once agony now make the trip a breeze - I have very tender feet and easily blister but using these I did not once feel any abrasion.

I love these socks.
I wear these socks every day, the men's size small fits well and I can vary the color to match what I'm wearing.

Great for hiking!
I wore these socks for all-day hiking in Yosemite and they worked great, as a sock (not a liner). No blisters, no bunching - just comfortable wicking socks. Great in the heat and cool or damp weather. I just ordered two more pairs.

A great Liner
I bought these for my husband for hiking after several blister incidents and he raves about them. I have the women's version of the same thing and they work great to stop chafing and keep my feet feeling dry.

My favorite socks.
These socks are great as a base layer in cold weather or as the only layer in warm weather. My feet stay dry and comfortable. They are also built very well. I have yet to wear a pair out.

I love these socks!
I wasn't sure about these before I bought them; had never heard of sock liners. Sounded good and I thought I'd try them as I plan on doing a lot of walking around DC in January. They feel great! The size is right on, not tight, not loose. I highly recommend them.

Excellent for travel
I have worn these for years in my international travel. They are lightweight & don't take up much room in my luggage. I can wash them out in the sink in my hotel room and they drip dry quickly on a travel clothesline in the tub. I just wish they still were available in solid black without the contrast stripe.

These are GREAT!
These Bridgedale liners are the ONLY ones I've found that really keep my feet dry and cool.
December 8, 2008
Love them!
These cool max socks are the best. I have used these hiking on hot sunny days, all the way up to high altitude snow and ice conditions in the Alaska range. They kept my feet dry which kept me happy and moving. Well done Bridgedale!

Worked as advertised
Just spent 6 days in the Canadian Rockies wearing these liners. I never got a blister or even a hot-spot. Very pleased with their comfort and functionality.
September 23, 2008
Great for skaters
I use these under my socks with old school roller skates. wish I knew about these years ago.
August 3, 2008
The purpose of liners is, of course, to keep your feet dry and to prevent the friction that causes blistering. In both of those departments, this sock excels. Though I have not had a chance to test them in cold weather, if they can keep me dry on training hikes here in the Deep South in May, then certainly their function will be even better this fall in the Yukon Territory!

Great socks
Can't beat these (or any product of Bridgedale). Would easily recommend to friends.
April 27, 2008
perfect blister prevention
After cutting a 100 mile trek short because of blisters I got Bridgedale liner socks. No more blisters!!
August 14, 2006
comfortable and well-made
These liner socks are slightly elasticized so that they hug the foot like a second skin and stay up at the ankle but are not too tight. My size 8.5-9 shoe size fit fine in the women's medium size. The attractive grey pattern on these liners makes them easy to find in the laundry. I will never buy a different brand!

Excellent as socks
My fiance wore these liners as socks when he thru-hiked the Appalachian Trail. We both love them!
January 16, 2006
It is thin and comfortable
Structure of a sewing eye is good, it excels in moisture absorption and dryness is also early.
December 29, 2005
Great
I was very happy with the product, they are great socks, but felt that the four pairs of socks could have been easily packed into a jiffy bag rather than a carton. The US$ 35.00 mailing fee for the socks that barely weigh 150 grams was very high. Please review your shipping rules for sending goods to Australia from the US. Thank you.
December 11, 2005
all purpose sock
Believe it not i use them most often for cycling and as a dress sock then anything - there is no better sock period.
August 17, 2005
OK, could be better
when hiking in hot conditions (>80 degrees), it failed to keep my feet dry after a couple hours of moderately rigorous hiking. i developed a few blisters as a result on my last hike.

Nice Liner Socks
These Socks work Great for layering. They are nice and thin but keep your feet warm. They did have a tendecy to slide down a bit though, and felt as if they were bunched up around my toes.

Advertizing
These socks are very comfortable. But do they have to have their name plastered all over the front? I mean, I've already bought them, why do they have to keep reminding me of who made them? My friends have taken to call me "Bridge", thinking I've had the name stencilled on the front of my socks so I can remember who I am after a few too many lubricants at the ski chalet. Now, if the people who make these socks would like to sponsor me, then I'd feel more comfortable in doing their advertizing for them. Say, $5,000 per season?

December 11, 2004

Great liners. I use them with a pair of socks on top. Reduce greatly risk of blisters.
September 19, 2004
AWESOME
These socks are the best!!! I bought a two pack and gave one pair to my husband and have kicked myself all winter and spring for not keeping both pair!!! And the store I bought them from is sold out and has been for 6 months!!! Boy, was I excited when I saw them here on line! Anyway, of all the liner socks I have tried, none really seemed to work and be comfortable and not make my feet hot. I gave up on liners 'til I bought these on a whim. Best purchase of my life!
June 13, 2004
Excellent
The best liners I ever owned!
March 9, 2004
Perfect as a liner or as a sock in the spring.
The socks were great. Perfect as a liner in the cold weather, but even better as a light weight sock in the spring.

August 11, 2003
teh best sock liners I've found
I've tried polypropelene liners, and lots of other coolmax products also. These are the best I've found. I've had to change my socks a couple times a day -- now when I wear these to my stiffling hot office in the winter, am outdoors hiking, or anywhere else, I'm comfortable. H
