Can't go Wrong with Bridgedales
I stumbled upon Bridgedale socks a decade ago in a sale rack at an outdoor store and am amazed to say that some of the 10 year old pairs of socks are still in regular rotation in my hiking gear. I've never had another hiking sock even come close to lasting this long! The Endurance Trekker are about the best 3-season hiking sock that I've found. If you want a great 3-season sock that will last and last - this is it (note: if you are looking for a great all-season, try the Bridgedale Summit Sock which is substantially thicker (and warmer).

Trekker Socks
The overall quality of the Bridgedale socks are excellent. The only criticism I have and it's a big one is the fit is much too big. I typically am a size 10.5 to 11.0 shoe size and the large size Trekkers (10-12.5 on the sizing chart) are way too big for me . I'm trying to reduce the size in the washer and dryer but we'll have to see . Can feel them sliding around and bunching up in my boot. I think they are trying to cover too much ground - size wise - in the large size sock. The previous pair that I have had for a LONG time, fit great and wear great.

Bridgedale expedition socks
I have used these socks only a few times since there purchase and they seem to be satisfactory. I feel they run a bit large though. I wear an 11.5, and my size should run right in the middle of there sizes, but they seem to run a bit big. They don't fit quite as wall as my Smartwools. Smartwool seems to feel a more securely on my feet. The Bridgedales seem to shift around a bit. Also, I have noticed a bit of pilling after the initial wash. Overall these seem to be a decent purchase for the price although in the future I think I will stick with my Smartwool Hikers. (Even though they seem to wear out quicker).

Great purchase
Although these socks were on the pricey side (that's why they got the 4 stars), I am really enjoying them. They wash well. I turn them inside out and air dry them. The color green is green-gray and look great. I haven't owned them long enough to tell you how they will last.

Best socks I have worn.
The bridgedale brand socks are the best socks I have purchased. There longevity is unmatched with other brands. I will continue to buy them whenever I need new socks.

best sock for the money
I wear these socks with boots and the lighter weight with shoes I have about eight pair of these some are about nine years old an are still in good shape I just bought three pair and will buy more in the future.

great socks
Very well made. Exceptionally comfortable. So far worn only in winter in hiking boots ... kept me warm and dry, no chafing or hot spots whatsoever. True to size.

Two Thumbs Up
I have been using Bridgedale Trekkers for years. They are terrific socks for backpacking and general use. Great padding. Very comfortable with hiking boots or most athletic shoes. I even use them with my motorcycle boots. Best in most weather conditions except the hottest or coldest days.

I've been wearing Bridgedale socks--almost exclusively--for ten years. I have about 15 pairs, all in the same color, and I wear them everyday. Two years ago I bought a few pairs and noticed that they felt a bit thinner than previously. I was right. I burned through them, and they all got holes in the middle of the pad. My ten year old versions are still going, but these pairs that I bought two years ago all died. I rolled the dice and bought a few more pairs. These feel different still, but sturdier. I love these socks and hope the previous purchase was a temporary anomaly.

expensive but worth it
Very comfortable yet sturdy. These socks stay in place- No blisters. Good moisture management. I prefer these to smartwool and Wigwam

Must have socks!
Padding from these socks as good as advertised! Used them for hiking, travel and work. Feet still comfortable when hiking in the tropics (with hiking shoes, 30+ deg Celsius) and in cooler climates (14-18deg Celsius) still keeps feet warm! A must have for travel and adventure!

A Sock for the Ages
I am very happy with these socks. They fit very well and feel great. They do not bunch up like others I have tried. I also like the distinctive but subtle colors. I bought 3 pair and each color combination is perfect. Among them all there is a sock for any outfit.

Best hiking sock, maybe...
I've wore the Bridgedale Summit series for years as my winter sock, its perfect. The Trekkers don't manage moisture quite as well as Smartwools but last twice as long and feel great, well built socks. Highly recommended for all but the hottest hiking weather.

best socks I EVER owned
Bought two pairs on Holland 3-4 years ago. Been to the mountains many times and they help me survive the winters in Edmonton, Canada now. Still the best socks I own. Need to order new ones online because the stores here supply inferior socks.

Comfortable, but pricey
These socks are comfortable, but they would be better if they were about 2" higher. These are the most expensive socks that I have ever purchased and I believe in you get what you pay for, but I have purchased other brands just as comfortable at a much lower price/

Perfect socks for the winter.
My husband who is a farmer has neuropathy in his feet from his chemo treatments. A friend gave him a pair of the Bridgedale Endurance Socks and they were great. I looked online to get him more for Christmas.He wears them on the farm and loves them. They make his feet feel so much better.

very good hiking socks
I just started wearing these socks. They are doing a great job keeping my feet warm. They give me good support and are quite comfortable after a day of hiking. The real test will be time - too often socks wear out (heels and toes) after a few months. I haven't had these socks long enough to comment on durability.
