good socks but not smartwool
really like these socks but smartwool products are simply the best, i will burn them up skiing happily but when they're done, it's back to my old standard. my single pair of smartwool ski socks have lasted me 3 years and they are thicker and heavily padded in the exactly right areas which this sock obviously lacks but still it's a decent product.

Great Sock for Any Activity
Wow - these socks feel soft and cushy inside my snowboard boots. The elastic held up an entire day of snowboarding. I have the gunmetal/black color sock and I really like the design, as well as the quality - I turned them inside-out and like the way it is stitched. I have not noticed any holes as mentioned in other reviews, but will keep and eye on it. Socks did not itch.

Excellent Ski Sock
Skied with these last year, there're the best sock I've ever used on the slopes! I highly recommend you give them a try and decide for yourself. I'm buying another pair!

So good I bought a second pair
Love these socks. They always keep my feet warm and provide cushion in all the right places inside my snowboard boots. From my research (both here and on other sites) these Midweight Heel Fit socks are the exact same as the Bridgedale Men's Snowboard Socks (look at the photos of the two). After having the first pair do so well I ended up buying a second pair for those weekend long trips to the resort. Nothing as refreshing as putting on a fresh pair of socks.

foot-savers
I have been wearing the bridgedale "summer" all year and loved them for their durablity and comfort. I ordered a pair of the Midweight Heel Fit for my work this winter, and they are fabulous. I work on polished concrete floors (inside and out)that are very tough on my feet. First day and everyday they bring me comfort. I just ordered 2 pair of Heavyweight Endurance Summit Socks and have no doubt of their quality.

Bridgedale Ski Sock Review
the folks at Garmont suggested i try this brand of sock, and more specifically, the midweight sock, as I have a narrow foot. I just used these socks in my AT ski boots and the fit and feel is perfect. I could also feel warmth in the sock all day. not something I had felt with other brands before. If you are looking for a true performance ski sock in today's hi tech ski boot world, go no further!

Love these socks!
I love wearing these socks - so warm yet not too thick and they stay in place. They keep me warm and cozy no matter the weather. Great for any winter sport.

Comfy, Warm
I love to tele (ski) and these socks were great! I didn't get any bunch, the socks were warm, and the thickness perfect for what I like. I have used these for both telemark and xc and they were warm enough without being too thick. Good buy!

Wonderful Sock
I bought 2pr and have worn them 2x each already. Very quickly became my favorite pair of socks. They do not slip down and ball up in your boot and they move moisture away from your foot keeping you warm even when working hard.

Great ski socks!
I was looking for some new ski socks - something different than the usual heavy wool type...my new Bridgedale socks more than fit the bill! They are lightweight, yet warm and supportive. I highly recommend these for downhill skiers!

Great for Snowshoeing!
A good sock is an integral part of having the right gear for your outdoor adventure. I use this ski sock inside my snowshoe boots and it works perfectly. It has great padding and support both for your foot and calf. I'm happy that I bought 4 pair and plan to also use them for cooler weather hikes when the snow is gone.

Excellent Snowboarding Socks
Well designed, well made and warm (but not too warm). Strategically placed padding helps keep feet comfy. Bought to help snug up a pair of boots, made just the little bit of difference I needed.

Warm in the Storm

I dreamt of these socks and wanted another pair for years!!!
These socks make all the difference in the world! I had a pair of Bridgedale socks (shin length) for years and I only wore them for hikes, ski trips, or crazy cold outdoor situations and I LOVE THEM. Now with the knee highs! my calves are so happy! I wear them with shorts on hikes and they are perfect - PERFECT - P E R F E C T! The first pair I bought over 7 years ago now have holes in the bottom and I cant bring myself to discard them! Such good socks! now I have a new pair and I have found a source to get them, Altrec.com, any time, anywhere in the world!! the website is easy to use and delivery was perfect - thank you for stocking one of the best socks I have ever put on my feet. Tip: wash them in warm water and tumble dry normally - over time the socks take on a boiled wool quality making them more dense with a perfectly snug fit.

Great for women's size 10!
I have a woman's size 10 foot, and always have trouble finding knee socks that both fit my foot and also really reach my knee, but these do both, and are so comfortable and warm. I highly recommend them ( I use them for everyday socks in NYC, we've had a cold winter here.)

Best ski socks ever
I just started using these this year and I have been more than impressed with their performance. They are warm, comfortable and light weight. It is important to remember that you don't need a thick sock to stay warm. Actually a thick sock can constrict your circulation and make you feet colder.

Comfort and Fit.
Just finished up 4 frigid days in Utah - YES, frigid and Utah in the same sentence. The socks were a great fit, very comfortable, well cushioned, and helped defer some of the extreme temperatures.

Best all around winter active socks
These socks combine the perfect amount of warmth with cushion to provide a sock that you can wear and guarentee comfort. As an intermediate skiier I know that ski boots are a pain and when dealing with the inconveiances of the tight and rigid ski boots, these socks help make the process easier. When mountain deescenting, the durable cusioning on the ball and heel of the sock provide a last that will prevent blisters and keep your feet comfy. The midweight characteristic also helps the water blocking capabilites as when snow gets on these socks you won't even notice it. Great socks and great value.
