Breathable
These are great socks. Lightweight but do insulate some in cooler(not freezing) weather. Excellent breathability. A good match-up for goretex lined shoes.

Men's X-Hale Multi Sport Socks
Very comfy, loved them, wear them all the time and they have held up to numerous washes. would recommend for running in mild weather, not worn them yet in cold.

Comfy Socks
Comfy right out of the wrapper - used for working out in gym and outdoor running. Cushions my feet in all the right spots. Did not notice any shrinkage.

Best socks ever
I purchased 12 pairs of these 4 years ago, and they are still in use today. These are the only socks I wear. I purchased 5 more pairs recently because I just needed more.

awesome socks
I was looking for a pair of socks that provided some cushioning without the thickness and heat associated with it. this pair of socks provided just that.

Simply Great Socks...
I love these socks. I use them primarily for playing sports in hot St. Louis, MO summers, but I've also used them in a pitch for comfy work socks too! I wear a men's size 12 and every kind of Large size sock I've tried from Bridgedale fits correctly. I've used them for more than a year now without any loss of performance or integrity!

light, cool; more padding would be better
These X-Hales were purchased to replace Bridgedale sandal socks that after some years of regular use were beginning to wear out, and which are apparently no longer available. They'll be used for cycling and daily summer wear. As with the sandal socks, the X-hales are light, cool, and well-fitting. I expect they'll wear equally well. Unfortunately, they're less well padded than the sandal socks and not as comfortable when one's "on his feet" all day.

light yet comfy
my feet sweat like no other. these socks breathe and wick moisture superbly and have cushioning right where you need it. NASA couldn't have done a better job designing these socks. But you're like "they're only socks, I can get 3 pair of cotton socks for the same price." well you can keep your outdated fabric and the clammy wetness that goes along with it. These babies had some serious R and D and it shows. merino wool poly-pro til I die!

Great for hot weather
I wear these as work socks in an ankle high leather boot in Phoenix, AZ where it reaches 120 degrees F in the summer. These are the only sock I have found that keeps my feet reasonably cool and dry in this extreme climate.

The Bridgedale X-Hale Multi Sport Sock is really a great sock. They fit right, breathe well, and never bunch. They don't look like they will hold up to repeat hard workouts, but they excel and have held together surprisingly well. Great sock.

A Great Sock
I really like this sock's durability and how comfortable they are still after several years. Be careful of washing the red sock with anything that is lighter, because they bleed. Otherwise, I'm very happy with them. I have found Bridgedale to be my favorite brand of socks.

Fits great and retains shape and fit after numerous washings.
The fit of the sock is excellent. The higher than normal height of the top of the sock is great. The color is bright but what is a red sock for?

Cool and comfortable.
My feet tend to get warm so I'm always looking for cool, breathable socks. The X-Hale Multi Sports are the best I've found to date. In fact, I wear them for everyday use.

Great socks for difficult feet, padding just right!
I love walking and hiking but bunion surgery and a minor bone spur where the achilles tendon attaches make it difficult for me to find walking and hiking shoes that work for me. These socks have just the right amount of padding in the right areas while still breathing and staying cool. I love them.

Very Impressed
I am a big fan or performance socks, but this is the first pair of Bridgedale socks that I've owned. The are well made and comfortable (soft, supportive, & cool). I will be buying more of these socks as my smart wool socks are retired.

Lightweight but durable
I really love these socks. They hold up exceptionally well, eventhough they are lightweight. My feet stay dry and sweat very little. If you follow the washing directions, they keep their shape and do not shrink. I love Bridgedale socks because they do not rub and have reverse seams or no seams. I have very sensitive feet and cannot wear most socks, but I can wear these all day with no problem, even 1.5 years later, these socks are just as comfortable as the day I bought them.

Great Trail Running Socks
Bought these socks based on previous reviews and wore them for a 50-mile trail run. They worked great, no blisters. Will definitely be buying more.

Best Sports Socks
These are the best sports socks that I've ever bought! I got 3 pairs of one of the discontinued colors, tried them out immediately and bought 4 more pairs. They're comfortable, fit well and are cushioned in all the right places. I plan on trying other Bridgedale socks.

love these mid-weight socks
these are pretty much 4 season socks that are great for trail and even some road running. The only days I do not want them are on the coldest or warmest days.

Good sock
Great for everyday use, and good for working out as well. I'd rate them higher, but overall, I prefer the Bridgedale Impact Sock for exercising.
