Great Socks for summer hiking/walking
I really, really like bridgedale socks. I have large feet which are wide at the toes--my middle toe is as long as my big toe--and bridgedales fit me well. I like these particular trail lights for summer walking. They come up just over the top of my cross trainers which is nice on a hot day. They are a little on the thin side for me for hiking though. I have had these for over a year and they've been used weekly. Holding up well.

Love these socks!
These are the best socks I have ever worn for hiking! They are light, yet cushiony in the right spots. Absolutely love them and recommend. I think I'll order a few more pairs!

Good light-weight trail socks
I love these socks! They cushion my feet while hiking but are light and breathable. My feet stayed cool and comfortable. They're a little pricey but worth it.

Fabulous trail socks!
These socks are just great! I've been stomping around in them over the Boston winter, and my feet have been cozy warm. They provide cushioning in all of the right places. They dry incredibly quickly and they aren't too tight on the calves--plus, they're very lightweight.
Another great feature is that they don't seem to pill when in the laundry. After countless washes, they are still as soft and plush as the day they first arrived.
While these socks are great for hikes, wearing to work, and general life activities, they are especially fabulous for running in the spring! They keep my feet warm on chilly mornings until I warm up, but they never make my feet feel overheated. Bridgedale just might have made perfection in these socks!
A note about sizing: I ordered a size medium, despite wearing an 8.5 shoe, and I found the medium to fit perfectly.

Excellent socks
I ordered 3 pair of Bridgedale socks at once, and this is my favorite pair of the 3. They don't slip down and they are soft and not bulky, but still keep warm and dry, even in really cold weather. I am ordering another pair.

Highly Recommend!
I highly recommend these socks. I did not know much about them, but added them to my shopping cart once to try them. I ended up wearing wanting to wear these more then any of my other socks, and want more! They work well for hiking or running on trails and helps keep my heels from blistering. They are comfortable and keep my feet from over heating.
