I've used AK gloves since Burton first rolled them out. I've never been let down and these are no different. I've used these now in everything from Colorado single digits to NJ spring skiing aka slush and they have not disappointed. They do absorb a fair share of water as leather tends to do but it never seemed to reach my hands or affect their performance. I also treated them with the wax coating Burton includes with the gloves. Finally the gloves seal at the wrist is quite good using both a zipper and velcro strap which I put underneath the velcro cuff of my jacket. Well worth the extra cash these will cost you over other gloves.

I recently purchased the pair AK Yeti gloves and they are truly an excellent choice! The gloves are very comfortable and will keep ones hands warm in harsh conditions. What I really liked about the gloves were that they extended over the wrist as to prevent snow or water from getting to your skin. The combination of the zipper and Velcro assures that they are secured on your hands without any risk of flying off if you take a spill. I find that because the gloves stretch over the wrist they help keep your hands warmer as opposed to other gloves that don't have that feature. I'm about 6'2 195lb's so I ordered the extra large gloves which are perfect for me. The gloves seem to run a bit small so I would probably order a size larger than you'd think you need. The gloves have excellent grip as well, to assure that you wont lose any grip. In short, I am totally satisfied with the gloves and would recommend them to any winter sportsman.

Excellent gloves

Great gloves. I have only worn them one time, so I can't speak to durability, but the fit is great and they are very comfortable. My hands were warm and dry the entire day. They appear to be very high quality and expect/hope them to last a very long time.
