Its Perfect

I love this thing. It is the perfect weight and thickness for my needs. I love to snowboard and I also ride an Adventure sport motorcycle and this Clava is thin enough that I can hardly tell its there when i put a helmet on and it keeps my face warm for night riding. This Clava is not for extreme cold weather though, but i have other thing for that.
Pros: Build quality, Ease of use, Great valueGreat Clava

Burton First Layer Clava is very useful. First of all, I like how light and how it folds up to a small footprint when not in use (I can keep in my jacket pocket easily without the bulk). Having a Clava makes a world of difference for chill/wind protection for neck and face, since it covers below the chin into the neck area, I can also get by without a scarf by zipping my jacket all the way up. Note the material is dryride and is pretty thin so it won't be the warmest face mask, but for me, its just the right amount of warmth for the temperature in the 20s-30s F. Also, Dryride material helps to wick moisture and keeps dry so it doesn't freeze up on you. The only thing I wish for is if it allows for different configuration of usage (some products allows you to wear as 1. full clava, 2. facemask only, 3. head protection only)... it would be nice so I can wipe my nose easily or when it gets too hot for ventiliation.
Good clava!

Super lightweight, quick dry and keeps the cold wind off of your face. Its somewhat stretchy so you can pull it below your nose or mouth if you'd like to (doesnt rip). It can fog up your goggles but I just rub a little liquid soap on the inside of the lens and that usually works; you could also pull the clava below your nose and expire air that way, less likely to fog. Overall a great product!

This is for warm weather and would be a great protection against wind. I'm sending it back because it isn't warm enough for my purposes. I would reccomend it for those who are not looking for warmth because it's well made and has a great fit.
