Looks good, works good
February 04, 2010

Shell is light and warm. Can be worn with an under layer while snowboarding in cold conditions, or just as a shell in warmer conditions. Has all the features you need for snowboarding while it doesn't weigh you down with unnecessary bulk. Black color actually has a cool grey brushed metal look to it.

I love this jacket :)

Good quality and nice fit, item as described.

Great Jacket, little snug
March 15, 2010

I'm 5'11 and 163 lbs and I bought a large. The under arms are a little snug when I layered with a thermal. It might just be that the vent zippers are rigid because it's new but it took some getting used to.

Great Jacket

Great for Spring Skiing
March 10, 2013

After riding with this jacket 3 times, I am very happy with my purchase. I'm a tall and thin guy (6'4, 180) and it fits great. Kind of slim fitting but still leaves room for layers. I like the look and feel of it and have received many compliments. It's not the warmest jacket but I knew that when I bought it. Overall great jacket.

Great Jacket at a Great Price
January 10, 2012

Nice jacket overall as you would expect from Burton. Great price for a basic jacket of above average quality. Single stitch seams keep the price down, hopefully this jacket will last as long as my recently retired Burton Tempest Jacket.

Pros: Performance, Great value

Quality construction, simple, stylish
December 11, 2009

This is a great shell which avoids being fussy. I like the fact that this jacket is just that a jacket. For example it doesn't have several hundred inspector gadget pockets, etc. The blue curacao panels seem lighter in person than they appear in the pictures. Also the fitting is pretty tight so pay attention to the sizing details.

Perfect for Spring Time.

The Launch Jacket fit really well for me. This is the best choice for spring riding/skiing. I wore this for a 4 days Mammoth trip and it pretty much handles all conditions, from a warm sunny day to windy, snowing and raining.
