Excellent jacket
February 21, 2011

Very nice jacket for hitting the slopes. Ideal for 20-30 degree weather. I am 6-2 and a large fits nicely. Arm length is perfect. Good amount of pockets to store all your stuff including area to slide headphones through.

This is a killer jacket. Simple design with a cool factor. Light weight and beefy where it counts. Kept me warm and nimble.

Good purchase for the mountain

Purchased this snowboard jacket for my 15 year old son. He likes the fit & feel of the coat and the fact that it has armpit vents is a plus.

A good jacket

This jacket is everything i expected it to be. It is very stylish, fits very well and is very waterproof. The Jacket does not give the most warmth but since the jacket is modestly price there really are no complaints. I would definitely recommend this jacket!

Good Purchase

I bought this product for myself (im 15 and love to snowboard). I am usually a small/medium and bought a medium size for this coat. Its a little big but i guess that is good for snowboarding and since i will grow. The color is great (I purchased Afterglow) and is a very light lime green. I have not used it out on the mountain yet but am suspecting it will perform perfectley. Overall a good purchae so far.

Great jacket. Thinner and lighter than it looks
March 11, 2013

When I first received the jacket I was surprised and kind of disappointed about how light and thin it was. Of course, none of these things mean the jacket won't be warm or waterproof enough, but I had decided to buy this jacket after I borrowed one of the same brand from a co-worker (don't know what model it was) the first time I went snowboarding, and that one felt like a really sturdy and heavy-duty jacket. Anyway, after having worn it once I can say that it performs a lot better than I thought it would. Of course you'll need to wear other layers in order to keep yourself warm in ski resort winter temperatures, but this jacket allows great mobility and keeps you warm and dry in the snow. By the way, I am a beginner to snowboarding and I have been sitting on the snow at least one third of the time I was up there, and the jacket would get wet on the exterior, but never in the interior. I am not amazed by the seams, but the overall quality is pretty good. Regarding the size and fit, I am usually a Large (I am 5'11'' and 208 lbs), I got a Large and it fits perfectly. It's a very comfortable jacket. Then, this is something that I believe is common to most snowboard jackets, but I find it very annoying that when you zip the jacket all the way up you almost have to put on your hood because otherwise it feels uncomfortable. Anyway, as the title of the review says, it is a great jacket overall and it was a great value as well.

Pros: Ease of use, Great value

Great Jacket, light weight, fits well, great price

Bought this jacket for springbreak trip to Park City and Deer Valley. We had nice sunny conditions and snowy conditions. The jacket kept me cooled off during the hot sunny days due to the under arm vents and kept me toasty warm during the cold snowy days. Hood and hip cinchers work great to keep the snow out. I really like the inner pocket for ipod or iphone along with the routes for headphones. Plenty of pockets for all of my stuff and enough to carry my kids extras. Highly recommend this jacket. I now have one in three different colors I liked it so much. Be mindful of sizing chart. I usually would wear a 2XL. I have one in XL and the other two in Large.

A great deal!
January 17, 2013

We purchased this jacket online for my husband because we found Burton "Poacher" pants and wanted to complete the set. The jacket was very true to size and is very stylish. We ordered it in black and for the discounted price it was exactly what we wanted. It is lightweight enough for him and he loves the pocketed storage. It's a great Burton purchase. Thanks!

Pros: Great design, Ease of use, Great value

Decent Jacket
March 13, 2012

Got the jacket in the gold/yellow color. Nice and bright, just the way I wanted it. Relatively thin jacket but at the price I paid, it was worth it. Still haven't put it to the test since the east coast is lacking snow this year.

Love it-

What a nice jacket!
March 17, 2011

I shopped for a LONG time looking for a snowboard jacket for my 15 year old son who is 6'2" and 186#. I was looking for something not worn by everyone else on the mountain, and not too expensive. I am glad I decided on this jacket. He's received many complements, the colors are great and he loves it too! Some of the reviews said this jacket runs large but I took a chance and ordered an XL and it fits perfectly! We went to Stratton last week and it kept him dry and warm. The ONLY thing it is missing would be an inside pocket or two, but there are plenty of pockets on the exterior. The jacket appears to be durable and well-made (time will tell) and I am extremely pleased with this purchase.
