Wish these had worked out
I bought the 2009/2010 Rulers based on my test fit of the 2010/2011 year version. The Imprint2 liners are very comfortable and feel like a dream, but for me once I put my feet in the boot, it seems maybe the smaller footprint technology was not so comfortable. I had pressure points on the sides, toe and along the top of my foot and throughout the two days that I used them, absolutely killed my feet that I couldn't go on any more runs. I wore a size 8.5 boot. I tried the size 9 boot and they feel much better, but I noticed that I am getting a pressure point on the top of my foot that I didn't realize until after I went to the mountain. I think it's the stiffness of the tongue that is flexing right on top of my foot, so perhaps these boots just aren't for me.
On the positive side though, the dual speed zone lacing is very quick and easy to use, though sometimes it might be a little tough to loosen the top zone. I noticed on the 2010/2011 version of the Rulers that they are much quicker and easier to loosen and pull the tongue out than the 2009/2010, which required a bit more effort.
+ the boots keep your feet very warm throughout the day with proper snowboarding socks
+ sweet brown/lime colorway for the 2009/2010 model
+ smaller footprint means absolutely no worries for heel or toe drag
- unfortunately the outer boot just didn't fit well for me.

SWEET!
These are great boots, great style, great comfort. Shoe is size 10, had to order size 11 to fit, not a bad adjustment just a size off.

Perfect
These were the first boots I ever used so my opinion might not mean much, but they are fantastic. I wear a size 14 and I was limited in choices and since I live in Japan I could not even rent any. So I bought these and have loved every day I've had on the slopes. They fit even into bindings meant for smaller boots too so that is great as they don't have XL bindings in Japan either.

Great buy.
Very comfortable. Burton sizes seem to be one full size smaller than normal. I wear a 10.5 and had to get size 12 for the correct fit.

Comfy
The boot is really comfortable and warms up your feets fast. The lacing system isn't that bad but need to put a little more work into pulling it.

clumbsy
I thought they would be good until i was trying to put them on and the strings got stuck in my zipper causing me to fall and look very silly. My boyfriend was laughing at me for days to come

Great looking boot with so performance so far....
Boot looks dope. Totally rasta. Felt really snug to begin with, moreso than most Burton's, I was really worried about it being too small! Spoke to a young punk at REI, he suggested 'happy feet'. Great purchase, 'happy feet' insoles elevate your arches, just a little bit more. Pulled the toes back enough (a few millimeters) to allow break-in with thin socks. Boots 'paked in' fine and now they feel great, even with slightly thicker socks (ie. Thorlo Extreme Boarding sock - great sock BTW). Feet don't get tired or sore either. Happy Feet Insoles are a solid addition to a great boot. Now... about the boot. 1) a little worried about the new lace system. Sure it is easy and quick, but will it last? Sometimes it feels like I am going to pull it out or snap a cord when tightening down on the boot. I spoke to quite a few people about the boot when I researched it prior to purchase. I only learned of one instance where the lace system broke and it was quickly replaced/fixed by Burton. I do like the idea, but feel like the BOA system ( DC/ Vans boots) may be a little more robust with it's steel braid. 2) minimal ankle twist side to side - good, but could be a little firmer. I would say this is simply a matter of taste. I like my boots tighter. 3) They are STIFF. Especially the uppers. I feel like this allows me to ride a little more aggressively. Not as comfortable walking around and goofing off - but then again, what is the real purpose of these boots? 4) Stiff sides makes it harder to get in and out. Be patient. Refer to end of point 3. I think this will break in more in time. 5) Probably fit best in a BURTON binding. I have RIDE bindings and the boot fits okay, but it is snug on the sides, real snug. Coupled with a Burton Baron board - these boots have very little overhang - a problem for big footed riders like myself and the stiff uppers seems to work well with the flex and kick in the Baron board. Love that board.... All in all. So far, so good. Will let you know if I have any problems. Color has leeched out onto the tongue in one little area. Once again though, these boots are made to ride. Scuffs and stains only add character. 4 out of 5 stars.

Great Buy
I got the boot about three weeks ago and I love them. Easy in and out with the new lace system. Complete control over the tightness and stiffness of the boot. No more messing with laces that get all tangles up and sh*t. I can tighten then up hard for hard terrain or loosen up then entire boot for the park. The comfort level is also great. Broke the boot in by the 3rd outing and they even contoured to my flat feet. No boot had ever kept me comfortable. If you are looking for a boot that really steps it up this year, get this boot.

Great Boot
I have taken these boots out a 3 times now and am very happy with how fast they are to get on and I hiked 1800 vertical feet in them and my feet felt great at the end of the day!! A great overall boot

Loved them... until the clasp broke
The lacing system is effortless, takes literally seconds and your ready to go. After my 3rd outing and the boots finally broken in, the clasp to the inner boot liner broke, leaving me prying the boot off my foot. Thought i could simply get another clasp, but was forced to return the boot or send them back to burton for repair. I really liked the boot until this mishap, hopefully my next set doesnt have this issue.
