Some entry-level and recreational snowboard bindings cut corners on quality (and longevity) to save costs, but Burton's Mission snowboard binding is built to grow with aggressive new riders and advancing intermediate all-mountain freestyle riders. Burton designed their Mission with comfort features like a padded, impact-absorbing EVA baseplate and Hi-Back cushioning. This season Burton's Mission binding features a new MicroFLAD adjustment dial on back of an ultra-minimized, single-component Mission Hi-Back for reduced weight and an array of adjustment options. The blended short-glass (30%) and nylon composite baseplate is ideal for all-mountain riding and won't warp like metal or feel too sloppy beneath your feet. If you're looking for something that will last--and you already factored in the cost of buying a cheap entry level binding that will need to be replaced by something next year--the Mission makes fiscal and practical sense.
