A technical piece that doesn't forget about stylish good looks, the Burton Women's 2L Jacket includes waterproof, breathable, and windproof 2-layer GORE-TEX® protection and a sophisticated lining system that offers optimum breathability and heat retention in each jacket zone. Burton refers to it as their ALS™ (Active Lining System) Outlast® Adaptive Comfort™ lining system. Although it's a mouthful, this system places open, macro-cell mesh in high heat areas, such as the jacket's armpits, and closed cell mesh in the core for a greater degree of warmth. The Burton Women's 2L Jacket also includes Outlast® as a key lining component. This technology absorbs excess heat to keep you from overheating, and then releases this heat as you cool down, thus helping you to maintain a constant, comfortable level of warmth. Pit Zips™ also contribute to the Burton Women's 2L Jacket's ability to adapt to changing conditions, allowing for instant heat dumping on sun drenched spring days.
