Description

Providing technical waterproof/breathability all-season midweight warmth, the Women's Approach Gloves from Burton are a team favorite for their 3-in-1 versatility. The Approach combines an extra-rugged DRYRIDE Ultrashell™ 2L fabric with the quick-drying warmth of a removable fleece liner. Shred with the shell and liner when it’s freezing, just the liner when hiking or shoveling, and just the shell for sloppy spring days. An Insane Membrane™ insert keeps out the elements, while its built-in goggle wipe adds an occasional windshield wiper effect. Belly up to the mountain and throw grabs, hand plants, and throttles until the last lift in the Approach Glove.

good value gloves
April 20, 2011

These Burton gloves are waterproof and warm. 2 issues of concern: 1) liner gloves come out easily when taking off outer gloves. It would be nice if they were attached. Also, it would be an extra benefit if liners were finished so that they could be worn alone, 2) not sure about durability - another pair of Burton gloves started showing wear after 2 seasons of skiing.

Warm but slightly bulky
December 24, 2012

These gloves are very warm. Even just the liners are great, although not very attractive by themselves. With the outer layer, they are very warm and wind-proof. The outer layer makes them a bit reduced in mobility. However, they seem quite durable, and great for prolonger outdoor activity.

What style! These gloves not only provide the extra warmth you need this time of year they are stylish to boot. The construciton is very well and I like that you get three options in one. The only thing I would change would be the ability to secure the liners in better. They sometimes make getting the gloves on/off a little tricky.
