Burton Women's Dutchess Insulated Jacket

Great for the coldest days on the mountain, Burton's Insulated Dutchess Jacket features extra dense 100-gm. Thermacore insulation throughout the torso with 60 gms. along the sleeves. It's a considerable step up from other jackets that sometimes opt for 40-gms.--but just remember that while the Dutchess is great for cold days, some women might find the insulation too much for snowboarding during mid-spring. The extra insulation pairs nicely with Burton's waterproof and slightly breathable Storm-Lite 3.0-E shell fabric. It's not as breathable as the A-grade Storm-Lite, but it's excellent for cold climates, especially in dry snow conditions. Inside you'll find fully taped seams for enhanced weather protection. The Dutchess has a removable contour hood that is ideal for women who prefer to ride with a helmet or accessorize with a fun hat. Faux fur along the collar and lining add a hint of distinct detail without harming our little furry friends. If you tend to snowboard or ski where the temperatures are consistently cold, the Insulated Dutchess is a practical pick that looks great and doesn't set you back a queen's ransom.

Dutches Jacket
I purchased and recieved my Burton jacket in the early spring. The sale price was great and couldn't resist. Burton makes a great fitting jacket and I love the light pastel green. The sizing chart was correct in helping to choose my size. I love the faux fur in the body and around the neck. I can't wait to wear in the winter.

Perfect jacket
My boyfriend rides a Burton snowboard so I went with this jacket on his recommendation. It's the best jacket I have ever owned. It was perfect for running around town in the snow, heading down the back country, and riding the snowmobile. It has great pockets, zippers, and magnetic snaps. I love that it is not big and bulky but it is warmer than any other jacket I've worn.

Great Jacket
I am a frequent Burton customer because of their high quality gear, and this jacket was no exception. It is comfortable, warm, and stylish. My only complaint is that it is a little short, but there is a snow trap as well as snaps that hold the jacket down to your pants so it hasn't been a problem. Looks great on the slopes or on the town, I definitely recommend this product.

get it done
got this jacket for my wife, who is always cold. after some convincing we hit the slopes without an underlayer jacket with the dutchess. it kept her plenty warm, her lift ticket read through the jacket and she had plenty of storage throughout the jacket. i recommend it.

I like this jacket very much.
It's very good for me. It doesn't look like other snowboard jacket style. I like it that very fashionable and cutely. Also it can keep me warm when the weather is very cold.

Dutchess Jacket
Love the jacket, looked everywhere online and Altrec was the only one who had it in a XL. Bought the pants that match at a store in minnesota before but, they only had the jackets in a large or smaller. Now let the snow fly!

Definitely a cute jacket, although wouldn't say its the warmest jacket out there, would be ideal for early spring season boarding..Found that even the xs ran sorta big..

Good Style, Not so warm.
Great price for this jacket, but it's not so warm. I live in the upper peninsula of Michigan and needless to say, it doesn't keep me toasty. I love the style of the jacket, and I recommend ordering a size up. I'm a small and probably could use a Medium for this jacket.
