This would have been an excellent jacket had I realized how slim the slim fit would be :( The length on my torso was excellent (I am 5'8") and the arm length was great, too. I just would have been incapable of functioning in any manner had I kept it and worn it :( There were no others in the next size up, so no jacket for me!

solid, durable jacket

I love the pockets and removable hood. The length is perfect and the lining of the sleeves is really soft - nice for those days when the temperature rises and you want to strip off a lower layer. It does run a little small though, so I would recommend going up a size. The sleeves are roomy enough, but it is a slim fit through the torso. The color is exactly what I wanted and the material seems pretty durable.

Great jacket, runs true to size, light weight but warm. Water proof. zippers worked well, and many pockets inside and outside of jacket

Pros: Great design, Performance, Ease of use

Love it

This jacket has all the zipper compartments you need, warm and lightweight plus I love that it is more fitted around the waist. The only part is the zippers located under the armpits are really stiff. It's uncomfortable so hopefully it breaks in a bit.

Has the look but not the warmth
February 20, 2012

I went against other reviews that said this jacket wasnt warm. But I took a chance it fit great, it looks great but its a better buy if your looking for a lightweight coat. I had to return it, only because it lacked the warmth. The sleaves feel more like a windbreaker as far as thickness. Again great jacket but if your looking for warmth you have to layer. I loved how it contured to flatter the figure as well.

i just needed a jacket to wear in the snow for my snowboarding trip. i'm not that into snowboarding, i just like to go for fun time to time and i lost my northface jacket so i decided to purchase one that wasn't too pricy. this jacket is good if you like to wear lots of layers underneath since it's not very warm by itself. i really like the way it looks on me and i'm glad i purchased it. i usually wear a Small but the reviews said to size up so i ordered a Medium and it's perfect!

Pros: Great design, Build quality, Ease of use, Great value

Hott Jacket

I purchased this for my girlfriend and it went over like gangbusters. Looks very good on her. Tapered in the back so it has some feminine shape happening. Only downside is that it looks entirely black from a distance, so I can never spot her on a crowded slope.

Pros: Build quality

My daughter loves this jacket. Warm, figure-flattering and lots of pockets for phone, lift pass, etc.

This jacket is great looking and well made. I bought a small instead of an extra small to allow for layers. I'm only 5 feet tall so this means the arms and torso are to long. We skied in very cold, windy snowy conditions. I had multiple layers including down and was still freezing. If you're looking for a really warm jacket, this isn't it. If you want to look good and stay dry, this is the jacket you want.

Awesome Burton jacket!!
November 30, 2010

Love this jacket! It was super warm and kept me nice and dry on the slopes. My favorite part-- definitely all the pockets. There's tons of them to keep all your extras zipped in. I usually wear a women's small, but I bought this jacket in a medium just in case. I'm glad I got the medium and might could've even worn a large because if you wear any layers underneath or fill up your pockets it gets a little snug.

Pros: Great design, Build quality, Performance, Ease of use, Great value
