Great boot but heel slips!
January 12, 2010

This is my 3rd year riding and I finally bough a pair of boots that fit right, the Burton emeralds! Although these boots are super comfy and fit perfect my heel seems to slip around way more than it should! I have worn them 5 times now and I can't seem to tie them comfortably! I tried to tie them tight to prevent heel slip and after an hour my feet end up falling asleep and my heel still lifts! If you don't tie them tight enough then your heel will really slip around!!!!

Fantastic!!!

I bought these boots for my daughter who is an amature snowboarder. She told me that the boots have an excellent fit, and even after 8 hours of non-stop riding her feet were not sore or tired at all. She highly recommended it to everyone (including me).

These are the ones!

I finally broke down and bought boots this year and these are the ones to own. I have a very narrow foot and these fit tight in the heel, so no more heel lifting. I'm sure they will soften after use, but they get an A+ in my book!

They are awesome.

These are best boots I have worn so far. They are easy to tighten and stay nice and tight with good support.

Great Boot
January 06, 2006

I have this same boot and I love them. I am a 3 year boarder and haven't had any issues. I agree that the boot does loosen up after some use; however, I find that normal in most snow sport footwear. I would recommend this boot to any lady who wants comfort, warmth, and (hee hee) to look good on the slopes.

Amazing Boot
January 18, 2005

I have consistently bought DC boots for riding (and have not a single complaint against those) but decided to widen my range this year and came across this boot. It is a fantastic boot and has relaxed any of my fears of switching from a known and trusted brand. This boot is warm, comfortable, and yes (although not an important selling point for me) quite pretty. Riding a variety of terrains, this boot has proved versatile enough to provide good comfort on each. My feet never get cold (big selling point for me) and the way the boot hugs your foot is amazing. My only suggestion in purchasing this boot...get it a size too small, or even half a size too small. After riding for a couple days, they really relax and although the inner liner stays nice and tight, the desing doesn't allow for extra tightening on the outer lacing. However, if you find youself in this position, any sporting good store will be able to outfit you with either an instep/sole or additional inner liner which rectifies the problem wuite nicely. All in all 5 out of 5 stars from me on this boot.
