Nice overall
January 27, 2012

This is a really nice jacket, just fit a little larger than expected. I have a Burton snowboard jacket of the same size, which fits much differently. Regardless, if you're looking for a jacket that you can layer a lot under, this is a good bet. The fabric is slightly shiny, but not overly so. The collar is a bit too stiff and is separate from the hood, which looks a little funny (to me anyway). The size problem paired with the funny collar is why I'm returning it. Burton does make great products, however, and this is no exception--I'm sure it would hold up well in lots of conditions and is a great weight for casual wear or under a warmer jacket when on the mountain. Just consider the correct size for the type of wear you expect, and size down if you plan to wear it with fewer layers underneath.

Returning this stylin jacket. I like it, dont get me wrong. There is just a couple things I dont like about it: first, it is NEON green... not the color I was expecting; it's extreme bright. If you are worried about being found... this is the jacket for you. Second, the hood is large and I wish it would detach or even crimp or snap for windy conditions. It's cute though. I just need something more practical...

Pros: Build quality, stylin, waterproof/windproof, Cons: fits large, hood is large: no snap/crimp
