love them

These pants fit great and were what I was looking for. As a newbie snowboarder, I take a few falls, and was impressed with the water resistance. They moved with you unlike many of the snowpants I've worn before.

Be a cutie, not an abominable snowman!
October 14, 2010

I bought these pants because I got tired of looking like an overstuffed beanbag in my older baggy, insulated board pants. Yay, these fit the bill! These pants have a flattering cut (comfortable in hips and thighs, but not too baggy; slight taper into the knees; slight flare at bottoms) and no puffy insulation -- so my legs look like legs, not marshmallows. Obviously they are not as warm as insulated pants, but I just put on thermal tights (like runner's tights) underneath and stay plenty warm even on colder days. They are a medium fit -- not too slim cut, not baggy, just right ... But first-timers should note that if they are planning on wearing crash padding underneath, these pants are probably not cut loosely enough for under padding. Also, sizing is more Juniors than Misses. A cool added bonus is a little, nearly invisible hook that allows you to fold up the back bottom of your pant legs a bit so that they don't get chewed up as you trudge through the parking lot. Only thing they could've done better is to make the fabric more waterproof -- at 5,000 it's just borderline waterproof/resistant. Why??? Anyway, just don't spend too much time with your butt in the snow if you wanna keep it dry. Otherwise it's fine. Basically a cute pair o' pants for someone who has learned to stay off her bum most of the time and has moved on to trying to look cool!

Pros: Great design, Build quality
Cons: borderline waterproof
