Can I wear these all the time?!
May 10, 2012

So, I have not used these on the mountain as of yet but.... from what I can tell... First off, these are the most comfortable snowboarding pants I've ever put on. There's a little bit of elasticity to them, I feel like I could do mountain yoga in them. I had them shipped to my work, and of course, first thing I did was try them on in the office restroom. They where so comfy that I didn't want to take them off. So I didn't. You heard me right, I wore these sweet new pants for the remainder of my work day at my desk. Fact, I was sweating like a Lady of The Night in church and my boss kept giving me off looks. But hey, they where way more comfortable than the corporate monkey pants I had on earlier. They are a little baggy saggy. I do have more of the muscular type legs and a very round back side for being a white chick. So if you have chicken legs, it's safe to say they will probably be pretty baggy. They are a cute cut, and from the backside, I still look like a chick. Yay. I'm a tall glass of water and they are also surprisingly longish. I feel that they come to just the right spot. If snowboard pants are too long (like where jeans should hit) the bottoms get damaged quickly from walking around. These are a little bit off the ground w/ my boarding boots on. I'm 5'11, 140lbs. I generally wear a 7 or 9 | 28 or 30 pant (depending on the company and cut) and this medium fits loose enough that I might wear a belt w/ it if i don't have any thermals on underneath. Totally has enough room for thermals, but I don't feel like I'm swimming in these without any thermals. Also, like I said before, have not worn them on the mnt yet, but in my long history of snowboard pants... these seem put together pretty well. All the seams are nice, stitching is well done, guessing the warmth will be good due to the linning. Tons of pockets, smart little things everywhere (oh, how I heart you burton and your way of thinking of it all). They seem pretty waterproof. That being said, by the feel of them, I probably wouldn't want to spend too much time rolling around in the snow with them on. They seem like they miiiight soak up a little water after a bit. But hey, I've been known to ride in jeans in spring conditions. These will do jjjjjuuuusssstttt fffiiiinnneee! I'm already sad for the one day in the distant future that these pants have to get retired. In short.. get these pants, get them now!

These were my first pair of riding pants ever and they've lasted really well. Super warm, but a little tight if you wear long underwear underneath. Love all the pockets where I stash my lipgloss and valuables!

Comfortable and sleek riding pants
December 08, 2010

These pants are slim fit and I haven't tried them out riding yet, but I don't think they will be constricting because they're so comfortable. Flattering shape, sits low on waits, not bulky at all, plenty of pockets, great details typical of Burton gear. I bought the Firefly color which is just bright enough without being too neon. Great fit and good price.

Pros: Build quality, Lasts forever

Burton Lucky Snowboard Pants
November 22, 2010

Great fabric and item is as good as described. My only complaint is that Burton changes the colors every year. I had a hard time finding pants to match the "last years model" jacket I bought on sale. There is a BIG difference in the large and xlarge sizes. fit might have something to do with that. women's pants are low waisted and you need to be prepared to belt the pants or keep hiking them up.

Pros: Great design, Build quality, Performance, Great value
Comfort: 5 / 5

Great Pants
October 27, 2010

These pants are not insulated, but due to the thickness, they really stop the wind and feel pretty warm on cold days. I have the 2009 Lucky Pants, and upgraded colors this year. I did notice the 2010 and 2011 pants are cut MUCH lower at the waist and they are more fitted in the thigh. where the older ones were more of a straight leg fit. Because of the new styling, I did have to size up from a Medium to a Large. By the time I got my padded shorts on, and a pair of thin thermals, it was a little too tight in the hip and thigh area. (This may save some ladies the hassle of returning and waiting for re-delivery). Other than that, I love the amount of pockets the Lucky pants offer. They wear better than I initially expected. I live in mine all winter and other than being dirty, no rips or wear marks to be seen. Awesome value.

Pros: Lasts forever, Performance, Great value

These Burton Pants are amazing! Super cute and a great design. Order them true to your size though--I ordered a Med and should have gotten my usual small.

I got these pants for this fall in Jackson Hole. They fit perfectly. Great length. I got a size large tall, because I'm a 5'10" and I have a long inseam.

Great Pants!
March 06, 2009

Even though these pants aren't insulated, they're still very warm because they stop the wind so well. Plus, they're form fitting enough to give you shape without being tight. I'm 5'4" and 115lbs, and a XS was perfect.
