found'em :p~
March 15, 2011

Due to my height/weight (5'3''/100lbs) and high expectations, I had problems to find snowboarding pants with the right fit. I got these pants in XS/true black. It's the perfect lenght and they're not too wide, just a lil lose around my thighs. I love the design and the pockets. There's a special one for the lift ticket, which is really convenient. I'm truly happy I got them :D

Hot Stuff!
January 23, 2011

These are very flattering snow pants! Fit like your fave jeans. I'm 5'1/ 105 and these fit excellent...but perhaps a smidgen too short in length. Fabulous quality and workmanship. Great colors...I got Mulberry and it is gorgeous! Haven't tested them out yet, but I'm absolutely confident in Burton's quality...and of course I'll be looking like hot stuff up on the mountain this weekend!

Great Christmas Gift
February 20, 2013

I got these pants for Christmas right before going up to ride at Red Mountain in BC. These pants were great, not super warm by themselves but as a shell, were exactly what I was looking for. I am 5'8 and the small fits perfect. I have ridden a few more time this season and there are no signs of wear, however I think it is still a little early to really comment on their durability.

Pros: Great design, Great value

Great snowboarding jacket; runs slightly large
January 21, 2012

Purchased these pants to go with my burton jacket for snowboarding. I am 5'2" and about 120lbs and normally wear a size 0 in pants. The pants were slightly large but it was ok since there is an elastic drawstring to tighten the pants. I wore the pants in approximately 30 degree Fahrenheit weather and was very warm with no layering. I did not get wet and was able to maneuver very well. And a plus is that they are very cute; especially the square dots!

Pros: Great design, Build quality, Performance, Ease of use

Not waterproof
February 06, 2011

I love the look and fit of these pants, and they are the only pair in brown I can find. Unfortunately they are not waterproof. I don't spend much time on my butt, only to put my board on (and I've been trying to put it on standing up to avoid the problem). I even have my Burton jacket's powder skirt firmly attached to the pants, so snow cannot get in from the top (they are low-waisted). At the end of every day riding though, my butt is wet down to my underwear. Not so comfortable. I can't figure out why these pants are not waterproof when they are brand-new. They're going back, unfortunately.

Pros: Great design, Cons: Low performance, Poor quality

Greatest pants in the world!
May 20, 2009

I got these pants for this fall in Jackson Hole. They fit perfectly. Great length. I got a size large tall, because I'm a 5'10" and I have a long inseam.

Great Pants!

Can I wear these all the time?!
May 10, 2012

So, I have not used these on the mountain as of yet but.... from what I can tell... First off, these are the most comfortable snowboarding pants I've ever put on. There's a little bit of elasticity to them, I feel like I could do mountain yoga in them. I had them shipped to my work, and of course, first thing I did was try them on in the office restroom. They where so comfy that I didn't want to take them off. So I didn't. You heard me right, I wore these sweet new pants for the remainder of my work day at my desk. Fact, I was sweating like a Lady of The Night in church and my boss kept giving me off looks. But hey, they where way more comfortable than the corporate monkey pants I had on earlier. They are a little baggy saggy. I do have more of the muscular type legs and a very round back side for being a white chick. So if you have chicken legs, it's safe to say they will probably be pretty baggy. They are a cute cut, and from the backside, I still look like a chick. Yay. I'm a tall glass of water and they are also surprisingly longish. I feel that they come to just the right spot. If snowboard pants are too long (like where jeans should hit) the bottoms get damaged quickly from walking around. These are a little bit off the ground w/ my boarding boots on. I'm 5'11, 140lbs. I generally wear a 7 or 9 | 28 or 30 pant (depending on the company and cut) and this medium fits loose enough that I might wear a belt w/ it if i don't have any thermals on underneath. Totally has enough room for thermals, but I don't feel like I'm swimming in these without any thermals. Also, like I said before, have not worn them on the mnt yet, but in my long history of snowboard pants... these seem put together pretty well. All the seams are nice, stitching is well done, guessing the warmth will be good due to the linning. Tons of pockets, smart little things everywhere (oh, how I heart you burton and your way of thinking of it all). They seem pretty waterproof. That being said, by the feel of them, I probably wouldn't want to spend too much time rolling around in the snow with them on. They seem like they miiiight soak up a little water after a bit. But hey, I've been known to ride in jeans in spring conditions. These will do jjjjjuuuusssstttt fffiiiinnneee! I'm already sad for the one day in the distant future that these pants have to get retired. In short.. get these pants, get them now!

Pros: Great design, Build quality, Ease of use, Great value

Loved by a beginniner
March 02, 2012

I love these pants! I'm brand new to snowboarding and I just tried it for the first time over the weekend. These pants held up very well. I love all the pockets, the velcro inner waist adjustment, and the clip on the lining that held the pants to my boot. I'm 5'8" 140lbs and I got a medium. In jeans (Levi's?) I wear a 28 x 31. When I first tried them on, I thought the inseam might be a little high, but on the slopes they performed wonderfully. I bought the plaid pair thinking they were black and white, but the plaid stripes were a variety of colors and I was delighted.

Pants for my wife
March 21, 2011

We both liked the pants. They fit her really well in the waist and look great but they are short. She is 5'9" with long legs and they reach her boots without bunching at all at the bottom. If she bends her leg then they pull up so we returned them. Otherwise they are great and had no problems. The style looks awesome.

Pros: Great design, Build quality, Performance, Ease of use, Great value

Burton Lucky Snowboard Pants
November 22, 2010

Great fabric and item is as good as described. My only complaint is that Burton changes the colors every year. I had a hard time finding pants to match the "last years model" jacket I bought on sale. There is a BIG difference in the large and xlarge sizes. fit might have something to do with that. women's pants are low waisted and you need to be prepared to belt the pants or keep hiking them up.

Pros: Great design, Build quality, Performance, Great value

Even though these pants aren't insulated, they're still very warm because they stop the wind so well. Plus, they're form fitting enough to give you shape without being tight. I'm 5'4" and 115lbs, and a XS was perfect.

I love this pant, the colors and fit are great and I even got compliments on the mountain. However, I feel they run a little small. I like my boarding pants a little baggy so its easy to sit down, kneel and get back up. I ordered the small and found they were too snug to do all that and got a medium instead.

Super Flattering
January 10, 2011

Love these pants. They have a simple, clean design with all the bells and whistles you expect from Burton. The fit is perfect for freestyle riding & the cargo style is super flattering. Adjustable waist is another plus because I have a tush but a small waist. I'm petite (5'4") and the small fits perfect. I'm such a fan that I'm considering buying a second pair in white - straight snow bunny.

Great Pants
July 15, 2011

I originally ordered these in Brunette for my mom, but liked them so much that I bought a second pair for myself. They're very comfortable and seem to be of good quality. I ordered a large (US size 8-10) and they fit well, other than being a little long. Fortunately once I put my boots on it's not an issue. Definitely loved the fast shipping and awesome discounts. I'll be ordering more from Altrec.

Great pants, comfortable and perfect for boarding
December 03, 2012

I love Burton's snow gear. I got these pants because my other snowboarding pants ripped. These fit really well and are comfortable. It's obviously a little large because they're snowboarding pants, but that's normal. But because of the extra room, I wear leggings underneath the pants; so it's perfect! I highly recommend them.

Comfortable and sleek riding pants
December 08, 2010

These pants are slim fit and I haven't tried them out riding yet, but I don't think they will be constricting because they're so comfortable. Flattering shape, sits low on waits, not bulky at all, plenty of pockets, great details typical of Burton gear. I bought the Firefly color which is just bright enough without being too neon. Great fit and good price.

Pros: Build quality, Lasts forever

Love the fit, feel, and all the pockets
July 13, 2012

I love the fit – not too baggy and not too fitted. I love all the pockets and the adjustable velcro waistband that’s hidden inside. Right on with that! The material is movable, comfortable, and not stiff at all. I plan on using these for mostly boarding and a little skiing in Minneapolis and a February vacation in Jackson Hole. I’ll write another review after I use them. I have another pair of Burton pants so I’m sure I won’t be disappointed with their performance. I’m 5’3, about 117lbs, 28” waist, and 37” around the fullest part of my hips and butt. I ordered the XS, regular length and they fit perfectly with my thickest base layer underneath. I tried on Burton smalls in stores last year in various styles, but they were way too big and there was no way to make them work. They were on sale and there were no XS. The regular length is on the longish side but I like that look and feel. I was a little worried about the sizing so I thought I would post this review to help anyone searching for sizing info. Cheers!

Great Pants
October 27, 2010

These pants are not insulated, but due to the thickness, they really stop the wind and feel pretty warm on cold days. I have the 2009 Lucky Pants, and upgraded colors this year. I did notice the 2010 and 2011 pants are cut MUCH lower at the waist and they are more fitted in the thigh. where the older ones were more of a straight leg fit. Because of the new styling, I did have to size up from a Medium to a Large. By the time I got my padded shorts on, and a pair of thin thermals, it was a little too tight in the hip and thigh area. (This may save some ladies the hassle of returning and waiting for re-delivery). Other than that, I love the amount of pockets the Lucky pants offer. They wear better than I initially expected. I live in mine all winter and other than being dirty, no rips or wear marks to be seen. Awesome value.

Pros: Lasts forever, Performance, Great value

Best ski pants ever!
December 03, 2010

I had been looking for ski pants for awhile when I found these. These are the most flattering snowboard/ski pants I've come across. I'm short (5'1") but these fit perfectly (long enough to cover my boots). Taller individuals would need to get the tall size. They are very comfortable and have multiple pockets that come in handy. I would recommend these pants to anyone!
