Uncomfortable boots ....and make sure to choose the right size!
April 22, 2009

When I bought these boots they seemed to fit good... I bought a 7.0 size then I changed it for a 7.5 size (my size is 7.0) but I felt uncomfortable... I suffered sometimes I couldn't put up whith the pain in my toes...I swear... I loved the design and colors (White and grey) and the lacing system but I had a huge problem with them..that's why I had to use my old boots... I you want to buy these boots make sure that they fit you well... ignore the size just make sure that those boots are the right ones for you..

not too good for me

I wear an 8.5 in shoes and I got these boots in a size 9. They were way too small, it feels like it's getting super slim towards the toes. Had to return them

Great Beginner-Intermediate Boots
February 05, 2011

Great for Beginner-Intermediate riders. Tried them on at my local board shop, but they didn't have the color I wanted...luckily Altrec did! They initially hurt my feet, but after one day of riding I had them heat molded to my feet and the second trip up was 100% improvement. The lacing system can come undone if you don't properly tuck them in, but overall, wonderful ease of use.

I normally wear a size 6 and purchased the 6 and size-wise they're fine. The only problem is that I accidentally purchased the older version, which only had one of the pull tabs to tighten the laces instead of two. I couldn't get my boots on tight enough, even the help of a guy friend so lots of heel lift on the mountain! I've tried on the newer version and the lacing system's much better.

Not great

I sent back these boots. I usually wear size 11 women's in Burton boots, but these felt slightly small. Also the speed lacing system is a good idea, but felt really flimsy. I could never get the boot tight enough even though I was really yanking on the laces. And these laces are thin so I'm afraid enough yanking will break them. This would be a pain in the rear, even though Burton exchanges laces for free. I sent these back and bought the Burton Sapphire from the store (more expensive but more comfortable and more secure).

Simply Awesome Boot!

The boots are of the highest quality construction, extremely comfortable, and warm, like walking on a cloud. The quick lacing system is very innovative and super quick once you get the hang of it. I purchased these boots for my wife as a Christmas present and bought myself a pair of Moto’s. Nicest and most comfortable boot I’ve owned yet. Well worth the money.

Usually wear a 5.5-6 and got a 6.5 which were nice and snug; definitely runs small. Only been wearing them for about 4 runs and are still comfortable and tight. Was afraid they would hurt because they feel very stiff but as long as you lace them up properly, they shouldn't hurt. Speed lace system lets you adjust tightness according to your preference, but it can be a bit difficult to get them really tight. Could use a bit more tightness around the ankles however.

Pros: Great design, Build quality, Ease of use

Burton knows that only ladies under 5'9

The size 11 fits like a 9.5 or 10, or 40-41 Euro. If you can figure out the sizing on these, they seem like they might be good boots.

Rad!
February 01, 2013

I was originally swayed by the review of this product. Luckily for me, these boots lived up to the hype. Somehow these lightweight boots are able to provide the support I need with just the right amount of support. I've already put in 20+ days and they show little in the way of wear.

Good System
February 02, 2009

Great, lightweight, warm boots that hug your feet and provide good support during your ride. The system used to secure the shoe is quick and easy to use (even with bulky gloves). I would advise going up a half size. The boots will pack out ( i.e. they become roomier with wear due to pressure and weight), but they seemed to run a bit small. I am usually a 8 1/2, but needed the 9.
