Versatile
There are many advantages this jacket offers. It is lightweight, which in my mind makes it more versatile. I bought this for snowboarding and hiking. I always prefer to layer in accordance with the weather and this jacket makes that possible. It also has all the features that makes Burton jackets great and the cost is a definite plus. The jacket is also long-ish, which makes it nice for snowboarding and keeping the snow shooting up your back. I bought it in the maroon color and I really like it. It's not too bright. It looks great with the rest of my gear, which is olive, tan, brown, and orange. I'm 6ft, 150 lbs and I prefer clothing that contours to the body with room for layers. The large fits nicely, not too snug and not too baggy.

The jacket overall was a good purchase. It is a little thin so you will need to layer up in colder weather. But I was still warm with just a shirt underneath and I used it in a 30 degrees weather. The fit is a little smaller than I thought. Its more fitted around the hips for me. If you are a little curvier in the hips, it will fit tighter there. Other than that, it was comfortable.

Nice jacket with minor deficiencies
The jacket fits a bit tight at the hips and is bit loose at the shoulder. I took the xs and I was not able to wear a second jacket below it. A second layer is necessary because the jacket is not thick. The style is very nice and the features are functional. The mahagony color was also a good choice.
I would recommand the jacket for tall people with slim hips.

SO SMALL
Cute jacket, nice color, but TINY. Could not even close the large. Bought a North Face in Large.. fits great.

great quality, questionable color
I love everything about this jacket, except for the color. I got the margarita green and it is a very light, almost neon green. I wish it was just a bit more avocado green. I'm debating about sending it back.

Great jacket
I wanted a lighter jacket so I could layer underneath rather than have multiple jackets depending on the season, so this was a great choice. It is fitted, so you might want to go a size up--I'm a size 6, 5"5' and usually wear a medium--ordered a L jacket and it has just the right amount of room for layers or I can wear it alone. Haven't worn in yet, but the quality is great too. Definitely recommend it!

great color and design but not very thick
I bought this jacket because I decided I wanted to buy a women's jacket since I usually buy men's jackets because they tend to be longer. The society snowboard jacket is a great length, the only problem with it is that it is not very thick. If you don't mind wearing a little extra clothing underneath this jacket is great for I love it.

True Black more like faded black
I returned this jacket due to the color, the True Black was more like Faded Black, and did not match the pants I have, which are also Burton (black with a pattern.) Quality construction, and a great price otherwise make this a great jacket.

Very stylish, but not too thick
I bought this jacket in black cherry and it is super cute. I got lots of compliments on this jacket. It is not as thick as some of the other ski/ snowboard jackets, so if that's what you want, you might need to look elsewhere. It worked well for me because I usually get pretty warm once I start skiing. I wore two layers underneath this jacket I didn't feel cold. I usually wear size 4 and I got medium size and it fits well. Overall, it is very cute, I love the color, but not really thick, which I didn't have any problem with.

very cute but not very warm
This jacket looks good but my arms are really cold in it and I think I am going to return it because I need something much warmer. :( bummer.

Awesome!
This jacket is super cute. I bought it in black and wear it even when I'm not on the mountain. The buttons at the top make it really stylish, and the fit is perfect. I'm usually a small, but bought a medium for boarding. It's still a slim fit. I highly recommend!!!
