Not small enough
January 25, 2011

I loved this jacket--color, fabric quality, and cut were all excellent and flattering. The kind of Burton features and workmanship that you would expect. However, it was waaay too big. I am 5'0" and 105 lbs, of average proportions and ordered a Size 3, judging by the sizing chart and other reviews that it fits true to size. The sleeves were about 5 inches too long I was swimming in the upper half of the jacket. It's too bad they don't offer it in a 1.

Amazing coat.. great great deal! Fits slightly large, i got a small and i'm usually a small to medium. But pretty true to size! I love that it's very long (covers butt) and has hidden pockets. warm and waterproof! Great product! Also, shipped amazingly fast! I ordered a bunch of stuff before ordering from Altrec.com and the coat was the first to show at my door :)

Great winter jacket, but too heavy for rain
August 25, 2011

Ordered this as a rain jacket, but it was actually more a heavy-duty winter jacket, or for snow boarding. But overall it seemed like it was made with quality materials. The sleeves seemed especially long and wide, definitely more of the boarding style.

Pros: Great design, Build quality
Comfort: 4 / 5

I'm always searching for Jackets that fit the long length of my arms. This Jacket fits perfectly! My wrists always get cold in the winter due to my jacket sleeves being too short. I decided this year I was going to find a jacket that did just that. And I did! The longer sleeve length allows me to reach for things without the length changing from regular to a 3/4 sleeve every time. Bring on the cold weather! I'm ready this year!

Great Jacket, covers the Bum so nice to wear with leggings. I generally wear a small, since the sizing is weird either 3,5 etc. I went with a 5. fits perfect If I had gone smaller it would've been too tight. Sleeves are a bit longer then I thought but got used to them. Love all the Pockets! Overall Great Jacket!! Fit is snug to body, has great details, and as always great quality thanks to Burton!

Pretty and Slim

A very pretty, feminine coat. But the sizes are pretty dead-on, so if you like to layer up, buy a size up!

Warning: It's really long.
March 09, 2011

I recently got this jacket and it was very, very long. It almost looked like I was wearing a dress. This jacket did not seem very good for boarding since it almost went down to my knees. However, it was a very nice fit and it was very warm. I would buy this jacket if I was walking around in nyc in the winter. I'm 5'5" and 135 lbs and I got a size 5.

Pros: Great design, Build quality, Lasts forever, Ease of use, Great value, Cons: too long

The sleeves are just WAY too long
May 19, 2010

This jacket has a very nice fit around my body, but there is too much room in the upper arm area and the sleeves are just WAY too long, check out the picture you will see that they are as long as the jacket, it's not nice, this is not what I expected...

awkward fit
January 30, 2012

This coat will be nice for a really slender person with wide shoulders..... perhaps a swimmer. The jacket is great and looks good. I'm pretty thin, but I have an athletic build, i.e. I do not have an hourglass shape. The jacket definitely is made for an hourglass figure. It was really tight in the waist...and I could deal with that, but the shoulder part was so "balloony". I don't know if that will give anyone a mental picture, but I felt like I had to grow some massive shoulder muscles to fill out the shoulder area of the jacket. I"m not talking about the chest area. That part fit, and then just got wider and "ballooned" out really wide. It was kind of weird. The arms were perfect length....and that's why I"m so bummed, cuz its so hard to find jackets that fit tall people. I wish the rest fit right. I had to return it.

From Slope to Street and more...!
February 03, 2011

I bought this Burton TWC Jacket in a size Small late last year (in the dark brown/light blue color). I am appx. 5'7" tall & 115 lbs. The jacket's sleeves are quite long for being a size Small, which I enjoy, since I usually encounter the opposite problem as I have long-ish limbs! The body of this jacket is a bit roomy for me, but very comfortable because I tend to layer up in the winter. I can wear a few layers (ie: a long-sleeved tee, flannel button-up shirt, and thick sweater) and still have ample room to breathe and move freely in this jacket! The torso of this jacket is long and a sort of A-lined feminine shape. I find the cut very feminine & pretty. This coat is very warm (and I normally get cold VERY easily/quickly!) and I use it primarily for street wear. It also appears to repel stains as well as water and wind! It is the only coat I seem to need for winter--I automatically reach for it every time I go out. It is extremely versatile.

Great jacket!!!!
December 30, 2010

I bought this jacket for my wife as it blends street chic with mountain cool. She wears it to work on blustery Chicago days and remarks how warm and dry she stays, while still looking great! The jacket fits a touch big, so I was safe ordering a Medium when maybe a Large would normally work. The Slim Fit is just that - form sitting but still enough room to bundle up on reaaaallly cold days. Also, the goggle and pass pockets are very cool and accessible. All in all a wonderful jacket with top recommendation!

Pros: Great design, Build quality

Great style great performance

I recently bought this jacket and I LOVE IT. It is very warm but you do need more than just a long sleeve to stay warm in below-freezing weather. At first I was disappointed in the amount of pockets but was stoked when I found 2 hidden pockets, the outside pockets are large.. I would suggest getting a size larger than what you think you need because it is very slim fit and you may want room for a down est ect under the jacket. Hood fits over large helmet well.

Great for skiing
February 08, 2012

Wore this coat skiing in killington last weekend. Loved how long the sleeves were and that it is completely windproof. The underarm vents are also great when you get going so you don't have to shed layers. I'm a little over 5'11" and its extremely hard to find sleeves long enough; this jacket has them! It's also great for us tall ladies who have issues avoiding an exposed torso. I'm pretty slender and the medium has plenty of room for a hoodie underneath. One MINOR complaint is that its a little bulkier than it looks in the pic so if your interested in showing off your waist line, this prob won't do it.

It is a very nice coat but fit huge. I ordered another burton coat in extra small that was too small for me and but I was swimming in a small for this coat. Keep in mind the long sleeves as well. Otherwise very nice, warm, slim fitting
