Great hammock!
April 30, 2012
I tried a few different hammocks marketed as light weight hammocks in this price range and out of all of the options I tried, this is the most comfortable. I feel that this hammock allows me to lay much more comfortably and flat compared to some other hammocks that always made me feel bunched up in the middle. My only qualm is that I wish you could choose your color. I ordered one for the backyard and for my wife to use on day hikes (I already have a Byer Mosquito Hammock) and we lucked out and got purple. From the picture it looks like some of the colors would be blindingly bright on a sunny summer day.
A must for warm weather camping

I have had this hammock for almost two years now and it goes with me whenever I go camping. I usually bring a tent along with me but I still prefer to sleep in this hammock. Lightweight, good build quality and has a built in stuff sack. The only con is that the cords have a tendency to get tangled up when in storage but otherwise it's a good buy at under $20.
Great for the price

I've always wanted one of these and picked up a few for gifts. They're small, lightweight and great on camping trips!

This hammock is super light-weight, folds into a small pouch (but you can't get it quite as compact as other hammocks out there), and has plenty of room. The biggest downfalls are that it's recommended that you only lie in it across the hammock (not longways like you'd want to). The other reviews say that you don't need slap straps but it would be nearly impossible to attach it to a tree without it - especially as it does not come with directions. Save money by buying a rope and teaching yourself knots instead!
Pros: size (folded and unfolded), lightweight, fun color options, cheap!, Cons: needs slap straps, recommended position in hammockLightweight - Comfortable - Cheap

The travel lite hammocks from Byers are great. not having a color choice was difficult....I have two boys and flourescent pink and purple showed up at the house!!! They are sturdier than expected and priced great, so that makes up for it a little bit. I highly recommend them.
Pros: inexpensive, sturdier than expected, Cons: no ability to choose colorsPerfect for light travelers.

This hammock is very durable for the price, has kept me off the ground many nights and is also easy to pack.
Amazing Confort and Packability
January 03, 2009
Girlfriend got me this as a birthday gift last year. Took it out for its first test in North Carolina on the Art Loeb Trail. 30 plus mile trail in some of the most strenuous terrain in the Shining Rock Wilderness and Pisgah National forest. This hammock is amazing. Slept in it every night and aparently made my companions mad from the amount of snoring that was coming from my hammock. Bought one for my best friend when we went on a bachelor party backcounttry camping/hiking trip and he loves it. I am small about 5'8" and I was the most comfortable I had ever been camping, my friend is 6'2" and he reported the same comfort. This hammock is a must have for anyone, trust me you wont regret buying this.

Very light and packs nice and small. Plan to order a tarp to have this replace my tent.
Good value of the price.

Hammock shipped is actually a Traveler Lite Hammock and does not match the image shown. Actual max load is 250 lbs not stated 240lbs and fabric area is 54" x 108" not the stated 54" x 84". The stated weight is accurate (Mine was 10.3 oz on my postage scale). Still a very nice hammock and the price is right. Shipping was fast, had it 3 days after I ordered it.
