Great product
The CamelBak Better bottle (.75mL) is great. It comes in a variety of attractive colors and is just the right size. It works great and is very well designed. I gave it as a gift to several of my kids and co-workers and they all love it. I am going to order a few more!

Best Waterbottle Ever
This is by far the best waterbottle I have ever purchased. The bite valve takes a few tries to get used to but you will learn to love this feature. I tend to just throw things into my backpack and it's nice to know that the waterbottle won't leak!!

Love my CamelBak
Bought one of these on a whim before a long backpacking trip. LOVE IT! It has become my everywhere bottle....bedside table, long trips, and of course MORE BACKPACKING. At home I fill it with ice (nice wide opening) and on the trail its easy to use with a water filter or lock onto my pack.
This one is for my youngest kid--she kept stealing mine.

Great Bottle
This is the best water bottle I have ever purchased. The mouth piece is great, easy to use and keeps away spills. I love running with this bottle because you don't need to tilt it to drink from it which while running can be a problem. great quality bottle and at a good price, I would recommend to anyone.

Durable. Great gifts
I love this bottle so much I have bought one for several friends. Everyone who uses it buys another one for their spouse and kids. The top seals shut so you dont have to worry about it leaking in a backpack or purse. I find I drink much more water than ever before because I can keep this with me anywhere. The entire bottle, top, and straw are dishwasher safe and don't have any residual taste from the last drink you had in it. The variety of colors make it easy to keep from mixing up your bottle with other people's. Great gift for college students or any athlete.

The bottle is made from durable clear plastic that is resistant to impact and not contain harmful chemical element,
easy to use, equipped with a valve bite, which is hidden when the jar is not used it very convenient. I like that there is a comfortable grip.

Solid Water Bottle
I was unsure of the BetterBottle straw design, wondering if a bottle with a sport top would be a better way to go. But at the price it made sense to try this bottle out, so I did. I am actually very happy with the water bottle. The bottle is water tight and doesn't leak at all. The only downside the bottle has is the water flow is just a little less than I expected, though water flow is still adequate. This is the only reason I gave it 4/5 stars. I purchased the color Forrest, and I'm happy with the selection.

Best Bottle EVER
I have dropped this bottle numerous times on cement and it still works great. It doesn't leak when you turn it upside down, which makes it great to throw in a backpack. The bite valve is fun and awsome. I've noticed that I actually drink more water when i use this bottle when compared to other bottles.

We love these Camelbaks
I got this one for my husband after already having my own. We both love them! They are cool, compact, and durable. The bite valve takes some getting used to but then is fantastic. This is the best water bottle we've had so far!

Best Bottle
Having used and handled many bottles, for us, this one is the best bottle. There are more expensive bottles and cheaper ones, but this one works! Its a great value, its light weight, and this model is see through. I can clip the bottle to my deck lines on my Kayak. I can drink from it from any angle becuase it has a straw running to the bottom of the bottle. There are other models of the "Better Bottle" that are insulated that are also great.

Easy one handed use
This bottle is an answer to my prayers. I go to the gym daily and my husband takes kickboxing. When I need a drink on the treadmill I hold on with one hand so I don't fall of or get disoriented trying to get a drink. I like that all I have to do is grab this with one hand, bite and sip. No caps to twist or pop open. Same for my husband. He wears boxing gloves while he works out. He has a hard time getting a drink. This bottle offers ease of use and a spill proof design. I also hated touching the all gym equiptment and then opening my water bottle. This way I don't have to worry about that. Perfect for both of us!

Awesome Waterbottle
I mainly chose this bottle because of the design (midnight birches). It was so striking to me that I actually sought out that particular bottle. It looks so awesome just sitting out on my desk at work or wherever I may have it. I also LOVE how it doesn't leak at all. I can throw it in the bottom of my backpack and not have to worry about getting anything wet. Especially when I have something other than water in it. I also love the bite valve. It took a little while to get used to it because I hadn't used one before, but I love how it makes it so easy to drink with just one hand. This is the best waterbottle I have used so far, and I definitely recommend it to anyone!

I have been looking at water bottles for a while and I really love the one I got. It's the birches and it is stainless steel. It is a little heavy but I expected that. The straw is extremely comfortable but does get dust on it due to the material.

Mouthpiece gets dirty and cannot be cleaned, becomes throw-away
The swiveling mouthpiece has 'nooks and crannies' under it that, over time, become filled with 'crud'; and it can't be washed out even in the dishwasher. There is no acceptable way to clean it, and it cannot be disassembled, cleaned and re-assembled. This makes the bottle a 'throw-away'; shame on Camelbak.

Excellent bottle

perfect size...
This bottle is the perfect size for workouts and spin class. I was going to get the 1 liter but the way the bottom is molded it looks like it would tip over easier. It is also spill proof and you don't need to tip it to drink. A+

it was alright until....
It started smelling a week ago. And when i say smell i mean it smells like dirty dishes that have been sitting in the sink for at least a week. No it hasn't been in the sink, i just wash it every once and a while and it started smelling really bad.

Great bottle, but plastic flip tab breaks easily
I've had this bottle for a few months now and use it daily at school. It's easy to clean, sturdy, and fun to drink from! However, the plastic tab that flips up the drinking spout recently broke off. (I did not drop the bottle or anything). This also happened to my friend's bottle, the exact same model. I am pleased with everything except the weak construction of the flip tab. I would still recommend the bottle, though, as it is still usable. The variety of colors are fun, too, and this bottle goes everywhere with me!

Totally awesome, spill-proof, easy to carry. I throw mine in the dishwasher on the top rack once a week. No mold or anything disgusting- I do make a point to only use it for water. As for the person who claimed it caused 'shifting-teeth,' you might want to check if you grind your teeth at night before blaming the bottle.

Best on the Market
This is the 4th Camelback Better Bottle I have purchased. I have 2 and have now bought 2 for my wife. After using the Camelback Better Bottle, you don't want to have to use a different bottle. Some people have mentioned problems with cleaning the bottle - all of the pieces can be taken apart for easy cleaning. Great water bottle!

POOR DESIGN
Does anyone have this problem? When the container is at least 1/3 full the liquid inside always seeps up to the top of the straw so that when you pick it up it is always spilling. I've stained my sofa and shirt many times when i pick up to sip from it. IT IS A SERIOUS DESIGN FLAW!! I will not buy another camelback until they fix this flaw.

good bottle, but concerned about tooth-shifting.
I wanted a trustworthy leakproof bottle after I drowned my brand new $250 GPS device with a bottle of seltzer. This bottle seems to work. I also liked being able to use it while I was driving, given that you don't have to tilt the bottle upwards to drink from it. However, I'm having 2nd thoughts about using it daily after reading the review where the person said he/she felt a noticeable shifting of his teeth from the sucking. I can see how that might happen, given that you have to bite on the 'straw' pretty firmly with your teeth in order to drink your water. I'd be especially concerned about tooth-shifting with growing children. Maybe I'll look for a water-proof bag for my GPS, PDA and cell phone instead.

hard to clean
I hated cleaning this bottle! There are too many small crevices and even though I washed it daily, it had moldy stuff in the cap and the straw was impossible to clean except with pipe cleaners. I don't use a dish washing machine, so that might be different if you throw it in nightly, but as for handwashing... And at first I liked the non-spilling suck straw that is like a cow's udder, however, I noticed that after a few weeks, my teeth were shifting ever so slightly from the sucking. I'm glad I lost it.

I love these bottles!
This is the perfect solution to both a sport bottle, which I frequently use, and keeping hydrated regularly. No more buying bottled water! These will save me a lot of money in the long run, and they are a lot classier looking. My cats and dogs often knock over regular bottles, so I'm always cleaning up spilled water, but that won't happen with these. I'm very happy with them!

Excellent Purchase
My active daughter uses it for Skateboard camp and soccer practice. It is durable and easy to disassemble. Lots of kids thermoses and drink containers start smelling after awhile because water gets trapped in the spout/straw area. This is not the case with the Camelbak water bottle. Well worth the money.

I was attracted by Camelbak's safe plastics policy, but when I received the bottle from Altrec, I found it extremely well-engineered. They're a pleasure to drink out of, you can use the internal built-in straw or sip using gravity, easily to clean. Just great.

great bottle - one tradeoff
This is a great bottle for fast drinking from an upright position, shorter sips, or in a car when you don't want the hassle of taking off a cap or tipping up a bottle and possibly spilling it all over yourself. The one tradeoff is if you are really thirsty, you're having to suck to get the water which is more effort and will wind you more if you are SUPER thirsty and already winded. For most situations I'm in, this bottle is a good choice. Plus I bought the sleeve for it which keeps it from getting condensation all over eveything if I stick some ice or really cold water in it on a hot day.

Leaky top
Sorry to disagree with others but I had to remove the straw which I liked since everytime I set it down after a drink, the water seemed to bubble up and it was easy to spill. Witht the straw out the spillage doesn;t happen but you can't get all the water out. Also, I drink a lot of warter and would like it if it were bigger.

Best Water Bottle Ever
I used this while backpacking Europe for 6 mons and never had a problem until the day I lost it. I love not having to unscrew a lid to drink. It's especially useful when you don't have both hands free or are on a bumpy bus ride.

Neat Bottle Design, But Could Be Better
The bottle's aesthetics are delightful; it raises the bar for its simplicity and elegance. However, my one complaint is the Big Bite Valve (which is the main feature of this bottle). After an intense session of cardio, the last thing I want to do is limit my oxygen intake. With the Big Bite Valve, I need to stop, bite and drink; thus, limiting my oxygen replenishing, which is irritating. In my opinion/experience, you can ingest more water and oxygen with the Nalgenes than the Camelbak, but there's the time factor to consider. Nalgenes provide more water and oxygen per drink, but require more time. Camelbaks provde less water and oxygen, but require less time. The screw-on cap is a good feature. Unlike the Nalgene bottles, they don't break off after a few months of use. I'm certain my the Camelbak will outlast my previous Nalgenes.

Great Multi-Purpose Water Bottle
We were looking for sturdy water bottles to replace the disposable plastic ones my family had begun to rely on. These are large, durable and easy to sip while working out. I took off one star since they are too big for my car cup holders.
