Can't even compare to the cheap freebie water bottles. The valve on this is stellar. Whether you squeeze the bottle itself or suck on it little if any mess. My only concern when i first purchased was how to keep it clean. It's proven to be as easy as any other bottle to keep clean. Have 3 i keep in rotation on my bike.
Pros: Great design, Build quality, Performancegreat bottle

It's pretty well a standard with the group I ride with. The 21 oz version is great to have for fitting in the back cage on a mountain bike since the 24 oz version is too tall. Other than that use, I don't see why you wouldn't get the 24 oz version, but I digress. Great, easy to use top that can lock which is a nice feature, by spinning the area right below the nipple. I always forget to unlock it though but it's nice to be able to lock it when you go to shake up stuff pre-ride. I prefer the non-insulated version to the insulated one because the insulated one, while great in theory, doesn't have enough of a lip for the bottle cages on my bike to grab onto well. The end result is several bounce outs in rides, which is always a pain to chase back on from. End result is I keep coming back to this bottle and it's 24 oz version. I probably have 10 of them and they area all I use. Super simple. You can either suck or squeeze to get water out but they seem to be much less likely to leak than the cheapies.
Pros: Great design, Build quality, Lasts forever, Ease of useGreat

This is a good all-purpose water bottle. It is BPA free and has two leak protection features which make it great to use!
Best 20 bucks spent

Switched from Specialized bottles because they were making a mess of my bike. Great bottles! I am bummed I didn't find them sooner.
Happy with bottle.

I like that I taste only my water or other beverage instead of plastic.Instead of the traditional pop up spout this bottle has what I would describe as a dial to go from on to off.I turn that dial on while its still in the bottle cage prior to drinking otherwise I've found it necessary to sit up in the saddle andtake my hands off the bars to operate the dial from closed to drink mode.

The positive shut off valve is great!. No more sticky drips on the bottom bracket and cable guides. Once you learn how to turn the valve open and closed I am sure you will appreciate it too. I like the idea of drinking from plastic that that does not contaminate my water as well.
