Pleasantly surprised

I was really expecting just an insulated bottle, but when I got and used this bottle I was very impressed with the jet valve system. It prevents unwanted leakage and no settings/switches have to be changed to start drinking. The insulation seems to work well, not great. Overall pleased with the purchase.
Pros: Great design, Build quality, Ease of use, Great valueBest Bike Bottle

Every year, I seem to buy a new bike bottle. Since I bought my first Camelbak Podium ChillJacket bottle, I bought two more. The bottle is great! I don't have to worry about my drink spilling out and don't have to think about closing the valve. I doubt another bottle can campare to the Camelbak Podium ChillJacket bottle.
Pros: Great design, Lasts forever, Ease of useA Excellent Bottle

It is not an ordinary bottle, technology allows the water retains its temperature for longer. The presentation of the bottle is impeccable, excellentent finishes. Ergonomic and Jet Valve its different and practically. Price is good in relation quality.
Pros: Great design, Build quality, PerformanceTOTAL JUNK!!

THIS WATER BOTTLE CLAIMS TO KEEP STUFF COLD TWICE AS LONG AS REGULAR WATER BOTTLE. DO THE MATH 2 X 0 = 0. TOTAL WASTE OF MONEY.
Keeping it cold
July 13, 2010
The claims are true, the Camelbak Podium ChillJacket Insulated Bottle does keep drinks colder than 'standard' bottles and the no spill nozzle has kept everything inside the bottle. My only concern is (I haven't tested this out yet) is the no-spill really operable with one hand while riding a bike? My premonition is no. However, you still shouldn't have any leaks. I love this bottle and plan on picking up a few more for myself.
I like it a ton.... no spills..... nice cold water...

only little issue is no covering for mouth piece... but this is not so much an issue for outdoorsy folks.
Really the best bottle

I just love these for biking in CA, my drink stays colder for longer, the JetValve is way better than the usual bike bottle top and they are easy to clean. Camelbak has made a great product.
Icy Cold Beverage with No Spills
February 16, 2010
Camelbak Podium ChillJacket is the best water bottle I have ever owned! The insulating jacket keeps beverages icy cold and the spill proof shut off valve only lets liquids out when you want them...
No leak, no spill

I carry this bottle on its side in my rear bike rack. No leaks or spills, and it's lightweight. Looking to buy another one in the Army Universal Camo. I can understand why the US Army uses CamelBak.
The best water bottles

My whole family switched to these bottles for biking. I also use them at the gym. Keeps water ice cold with no sweating. The top has a shut off valve, so no dripping either.

My favorite bottle

This is the best bottle I've ever used because it keeps ice cold AND doesn't sweat. A must have if you don't like drippy bottles.
Best 20 bucks spent

Switched from Specialized bottles because they were making a mess of my bike. Great bottles! I am bummed I didn't find them sooner.
Great Way to Start a Long, Outdoor Workout
August 16, 2009
The bottle keeps the drink cold without ice watering it down. It's a great way to start out in the hot afternoon for a workout. Only wish it came in a 32 oz size...21 oz can go fast. Easy clean up and throw it in the freezer for the next use.
Insulated bottle
May 06, 2009
I've been using the non-insulated Podium bottles for awhile and am very pleased with them. Haven't gotten to try the new ones in extreme heat yet, but on an 85 degree day the insulated Podium bottles kept my drinks much cooler.
Happy with bottle.

I like that I taste only my water or other beverage instead of plastic.Instead of the traditional pop up spout this bottle has what I would describe as a dial to go from on to off.I turn that dial on while its still in the bottle cage prior to drinking otherwise I've found it necessary to sit up in the saddle andtake my hands off the bars to operate the dial from closed to drink mode.

great bottles
The positive shut off valve is great!. No more sticky drips.
April 19, 2008
The positive shut off valve is great!. No more sticky drips on the bottom bracket and cable guides. Once you learn how to turn the valve open and closed I am sure you will appreciate it too. I like the idea of drinking from plastic that that does not contaminate my water as well.
