Great for that trail run!
July 22, 2012
Being an avid trail runner, I have an assortment of hydration vests and packs that are great for those runs that last 1 hour or greater. However, I wanted something for the shorter runs during the week where I can stow my car key, iPod (nano) , and still have a hydration source. An iPhone can fit in the back mesh pocket, and the extra pocket in the front is great for goos/snacks and things you may need to access quickly. Also, on hotter days, the hydration packs/vests can be too warm and it is nice to have this to allow my back to breathe!!! The materials seem very durable and the bottle is excellent with its adjustable valve to avoid leaking. Just make sure you cinch it tight around your waist to avoid the bouncing effect and have the bottle directly in the center of your back. Overall, it was exactly what I was looking for.Pros: Great design, Build quality, Performance, Ease of use, Cons: excessive length of belt strap
Well made, but awkward & too small!

This Camelback Delaney is very well made, as are most Camelback products. However, I was very disappointed in the size. My iPhone does not even fit in either pocket......finally got it to fit by removing the cover. The larger pocket is not even large enough to fit glasses into it and the shape of it is very awkward, somewhat triangular. This product would be great if the pockets were a bit larger; at least large enough to fit glasses, phone & house keys. Each day when I leave for my 5 mile walk, I struggle with the fanny pack. I tried to listen to music on my iPhone during walk; the fit is so tight that as I walked, the pack rubbed on the phone and kept skipping over the tunes. All in all, I would say its way too small!Pros: Build quality, Cons: Bad design, Low performance, way too small, awkward pockets
