I have a thing for hats. I own a variety of fall/winter beanies from Arcteryx, Marmot, Coal, generic brands some are better than others. Canada Goose Merino Wool Beanie is the best one so far. Its fleece lined giving it extra wind protection, itÂ’s just long enough to cover back of the neck and ears and extremely soft without scratchy wool (scratchy good is for socks, not for head however). I would rate it up to 20F comfortably.
