Best Gloves Ever
January 09, 2012

I have been on a mission to find the warmest gloves and have finally found them! My hands get extremely cold extremely easily and these are the only gloves that I have found my hands to be warm in. I was walking my dog in 7 degree (Fahrenheit) windy weather the other morning and my hands were the only part of my body that stayed warm. I have been recommending them to everyone! I absolutely love these gloves.

Pros: Great design, Build quality, Performance, warm

Canada Goose Gloves - women
February 28, 2012

In search of warm gloves for those 20 degree and colder days on the slopes? These will do it. The Canada Goose gloves are well made, and warm - fit of course depends on individual hands, but they fit great for my hands. I've tried a number of gloves before settling on these and the Marmot Randonnee gloves. The Randonnees are great for the 20 degree plus days, but I go to the Canada Goose gloves when the temperature drops below 20. Of course, to a large extent warmth is also a subjective issue since people's hands react to cold differently. My hands get cold easy. For temps below minus 5, I have to go to down mittens. Minus 5 to plus 20, Canada Goose, and above 20 almost any decent glove will do fine, e.g., Marmot Randonnee. Price is high, but warm hands are worth it. Look at how much money people put into the outer jacket layer where the warmth difference between an expensive item and a cheaper one is not that large. With gloves, the warmth difference between an expensive solid model and a cheaper one is large. Save 100 on a jacket on sale, and put that into these gloves. Team these up with Eddie Bauer First Ascent line of super mountaineering clothing and get out there with warmth and confidence. Oh, and after a number of purchases with Altrec, I couldn't be happier with the service.

Pros: Build quality, Performance
