My main concerns were fit and warmth (I'm smallish, 5'4" 110 lbs, with lousy circulation, moving to Chicago, a real wimp about the cold). I can't speak to warmth, as I've yet to move, but as for fit, it's a keeper. The XS runs perfect--snug, but allows a sweater layer, with wrist cuffs to prevent drafts up the sleeves. I appreciate that the fabric on the outside is not that shiny polyester typical of down coats; also, no scratchy Velcro. My only reservation is that there is about an inch gap where the coat meets at the bottom, below the zipper. It's probably not an issue, but given the above-the-knee length of the coat, I wish the bottom was enclosed. I'm wondering if I'll want a longer coat in gusty weather, but will see how I fare.

This is a great jacket for cold weather. Love this jacket, as it is so comfortable and also durable. I order the light gray jacket because I was concerned that white would get dirty.Pros: Build quality, Cons: Cost
Love this coat

My kids love winter sports - ice hockey, figure skating, you name it - and I was so tired of being cold at the rink side. Not anymore - just watched a game yesterday without being the slightest bit cold! I spent a long time choosing the model of Canada Goose that was the right choice for me, and ended up with Kensington because I am tall, and this is the only model that comes just above my knees, and because of the sleek design. The coat is beautiful with the real fur, and very elegant for the warmth. The quality is just fantastic. Although expensive, I really think this coat is worth every cent. It feels so much more comfortable than other coats with similar warmth, and I do have quite a lot of experience here! The only negative is that the hood doesn't come off, but personally I don't really mind that.Pros: Great design, Build quality, Lasts forever, super warm

The Kensington is made well. Appears to hold up well during the snow. The fit is true to size. For the money splurge a little more and go with the Expedition. The brand is worth every penny. The Kensington wears well, keeps you warm and toasty!Pros: Great design, Build quality, Performance, Ease of use, Great value, Cons: Cost

I bought this jacket in the summer so I haven't had a chance to try it out in the NY winter but the jacket seems really well made. I am 5ft 3 in and approximately 100 lbs and purchased this jacket in the size XXS and it fits perfect, just enough to allow a thick sweater underneath. I love the fit of the jacket in that the cut of the jacket gives you a little bit of a waist. I was also surprised that the jacket isn't as heavy or as thick in material as I had imaged it to be. Overall I am very happy with the purchase.Pros: Great design, Cons: Cost
Canada Goose all the way!

We moved to Chicago last year and I was more than a little worried about the winters. After a TON of research, I bought a Canada Goose Mystique jacket which kept me toasty warm even on the coldest days (not that there were that many last winter!). I have just bought the Kensington because I wanted a jacket that would be perfect in the 30's to teens range of temperatures. The Kensington is it! It will be as perfect over jeans as over my work gear. I love the quality and warmth and the fit is great for me. I am 5 feet 2 inches and 115 pounds and have an XS in both jackets. The fit for both is snug which is fine as I don't like to layer (another benefit with Canada Goose is I don't need to!). The upper body fit is particularly snug so if you are bulky up top, have big arms or like to layer you may want to go up a size. Roll on winter as with my Canada Goose jackets I will be more than ready to take anything you throw at me!Pros: Great design, Build quality, Lasts forever, Performance, Ease of use

I have been wanting this coat for awhile but it is expensive. However I live in Canada so figure I would get lots of use out of it. I was right. I basically haven't taken it off since I got it. Best coat ever!!!! Really warm and the fur around hood keeps your face so surprisingly protected and warm. Highly recommend instead of buying lots of cheaper coats, just buy this one. Looks great too!Pros: Great design, Build quality, Performance, Ease of use

This jacket is absolutely gorgeous! Looks so much better than North Face, Patagonia etc. I did not wear it yet because it's still summer but after trying it on I'm sure it will be super warm! It's worth every penny !!!Pros: Great design, Build quality, Lasts forever
Great Look and Purpose

I originally bought the trillium XS and thought I needed something that heavy duty for working outside but I'm wrong. The trillium is too thick so I decided to try the Kensington which is slightly longer and has half the insulation (re: CG). The Kensington is definetely slimmer but warm enough for me to be 2-3 hours outside in -20. It looks great and it's warm so good enough for me. Though I wasn't sure why the price difference between the Trillium and Kensington as the trillium appears to be a lot thicker, thicker materials, better fur and just seem better quality overall. The Kensington has slightly weird buttons that I don't use because they are not very practical at all. I prefer the Trillium snap buttons for ease of use. The chest warmer pockets on the Kensington are too short for you to put your hands in. However, I still choose the Kensington for the style. Pros: slimming & warm, rear flaps, carrying inside straps Cons: no neck protection, tight neck colar/zipper, no wire in the hood and the hood is not detachable (the fur is).Pros: Great design, Build quality, carrying strap, warm enough, slimming, Cons: Cost, no wire in fur, non detachable hood, short hand warmer pocket

I recently purchased the Canada Goose Kensington Parka for a trip my husband and I are taking to Eastern Europe this Christmas. I live in Australia so its quite difficult to find weather appropriate clothing for ultra-cold conditions. It also meant that I couldnt try on any of the coats I was researching. After doing A LOT of research and reading every review I could find I settled on the Kensington. The people at Canada Goose were really helpful in providing me with the exact measurements of the Kensington which I compared to some coats I already have and eventually I decided to buy the medium (I am 61 and 140lbs). Its quite a fitted coat and the small wouldve fitted me perfectly but I decided to get the next size up so I could have the option to wear layers underneath if I need to I REALLY feel the cold. When it arrived I was so excited to try it on. Because I am tall and slim I often have trouble with sleeve length but the coat fits amazingly well and SO comfortable. Its a little bulky around the bum area because I went for the bigger size but I can cope with that. The fleece-lined pockets are so toasty and the hood is fantastic. I cannot comment on the warmth just yet (although after a few minutes of having it on I was sweating!), I cannot fault the fit or comfort at all. Im so happy that I purchased the Kensington Parka, its fantastic.Pros: Great design, Build quality
