Made with the same high-quality materials and design Canada Goose puts into their adult jackets, this winter coat for kids has a durable, water-resistant poly/cotton outer shell and a moisture-wicking nylon lining. Stuffed with 625 fill white duck down, this youth parka has a cozy coyote fur ruff around the hood with wire bracing for stability in high wind. Multiple pockets offer refuge for chilly fingers and a place to keep gloves, snacks and even an iPod. A powder skirt, a drawcord waist and rib-knit cuffs all help seal in body heat. Designed to fall at mid-thigh, your little adventurers will have superior warmth and full coverage when they're wearing the Canada Goose Expedition Parka for kids.

WOW, What a coat!

I ordered a youth expedition size XL, and fits perfect!! I am 5'3 and weigh around 108lb. Still have plenty of room for a bulky wool sweater and turtleneck...not that I will need a wool sweater now!

Really happy with this purchase! Thought maybe my 14 year old daugther would need the womens parka (size wise), but through excellent guidance by Altrec customer service I decided on the Youth XL, which fit perfectly - and at a much nicer price:) Great parka for Norwegian winter weather conditions.

Its warmth as beautiful..

I purchased this, for the son of a friend, they were traveling to antarctica, they found it very comfortable, and it looks so stylish.. I have to say that you dont have many choices for extreme cold clothing when it comes to boys, but these seems to work altought a little bit pricy.. I definietely think that when in severe cold, this should be wear over a good insulating piece as well as a good baselayer, and not by itself.

Great jacket. Fit is relax loose. Bought XL Youth Expedition and it was too big. 5'2" 110 lbs. Large or medium would work better. A bit on the bulky side but really really warm. Can't feel the wind chill. Worth every penny. A bit hard to zip up the jacket though.
