I purchased this coat for my daughter, a Florida born and raised girl, who recently moved to the mid-west. Knowing the bitter cold would freeze her tiny frame, I bit the bullet and invested in this coat, hoping it was as warm as description claimed. Today was the first day she wore the coat, temperature went to below 0 degrees fahernheit, and she said it kept her very, very warm! The coat is not at all bulky and I was was really skeptical that something so seemingly light weight would actually work so well. It fits her perfectly and it's very comfortable. The only down side is that I had to purchase a child size because of her tiny frame, and the children's sizes only have two outside pockets. It would have been nice to have the extra inside pockets that the women's sizes have. But I highly recommend this coat to anyone needing to keep warm in cold temperatures. It is well worth the money!
