I love mine
imines love mine so much I had to buy several of them to give as Christmas presents. if mine ever wears out I will definitely buy another but the one I have doesn't show any sign of wearing out anytime soon it will probably last another 5 years or more.

I WORK IN A WAREHOUSE WHERE THERE ARE LOTS OF TRUCK DELIVERIES WHICH MEANS BAY DOORS ARE CONSTANTLY OPEN ON BOTH ENDS WHICH ALSO MEANS A HIGH AMOUNT OF COLD AIR RUNNING THROUGH THIS PRODUCT IS EXCELLENT IN KEEPING ME WARM AND AVOIDING BEING SICK VERY GOOD DESIGN KEEPS ME VERY WARM AROUND EARS AND NECK

Snowboarding Hat; Warm Winter
I think this hat is fantastic because i dont need to wear a beanie and a face warmer which both fall off all the time. I just need to put this hat on and shred the pow in warmth and it never falls off!

Carhartt 2-in-one headwear
This product is everything I had hoped for:breaks the wind and is very warm. It's a Carhartt product so it goes without saying that the quality and durability are top notch. Ilove it and have ordered one for my son that bikes to work year-round!

warm and soft
Bought these as gifts and they were well received. The hats are soft and warm. The color was as expected. I would recommend these as an economical warm hat.

Awesome
Great Hat. This hat is very warm. The biggest reason I bought this hat was for the 'facemask' portion of it, and it was not a letdown whatsoever. The mask is very warm fits the face very well (as it's spandex) and is lined with something that resembles fleece. The one caution I would give is that the hat may be small for some people. I have a Medium cap size and this hat fits quite snugly on me. There is a little stretch in it, but the hat may be small for some people. But for me, it fits perfectly and I love the mask.

Carhart 2 in 1 hat
I had purchased these last holidays for 4 guys and they all have raved about them. So this year They will get new ones of different colors. The face mask is a nice feature with out the added bulk in the hat convenient to pull down as needed for the cold wind in your face. This hat does a nice job on keeping the head warm with out the itch too.

I just received this hat and just in time. It was freezing last night and I wore my new hat. I was concerned that it wouldn't be very comfortable when the piece to cover your face was tucked inside the hat but it was fine. It is nice to be able to easily pull that piece down after you've been outside in the cold for a while to warm up your face too. I definitely recommend this hat for anyone that spends time outside in the cold!

Vary sweet hat!
vary warm hat my favorite hat so far i shovel snow in the winter and live on a farm and when your out side in sub zero all day and night working you can't stop when your chin is frozen

One size doesn't fit all
Item seems a bit flimsy but does work to keep head warm in mildly cold weather........fall and spring type cold. The one size fits all designation is a misnomer to say the least. I usually wear medium to large size headgear. this item is so tight I allmost returned it but figured it wasn't worth the trouble for the price I paid. If you wear a solid large or x-large size forget it. I expect more from Carhartt.

Great Product
Carhartt makes some of the most durable products on the market. It is made with high quality materials. This headwear very warm and comfortable to wear. One of my favorite things is if you dont want to cover your face you can tuck it away under the head part.

VERY WARM
I LOVE THIS HAT, I WISH THEY MADE THEM IN SIZES INSTEAD OF ONE SIZE BECAUSE I'M A BIG GUY WITH A LARGE HEAD.

BEST WINTER HAT EVER!!!!
Bought this hat for work, working on semi trucks all day sometimes outside i think this is the best hat i have ever bought. I have one for at home also and the other day wisconsin had a big snow storm and i had to plow the driveway on my 4 wheeler my head,ears and face were very warm in 0deg 50mpg winds. I hope they dont stop making this hat,its the best one they make.Thank You Carhartt

Out of the cold!
My son & son-in-law both work in the oilfield business. Both of them are outside in the weather & really appreciated receiving these as gifts. They say it definitely keeps their heads & ears warm & when it's cold & windy, the drop down helps them to breathe in their own warm breath instead of cold wind. These are keepers!

awesome for winter running
This hat is great, I love running outside in cold weather and it really does the trick for keeping the cold off your face. The inside of the face cover is a fleece material so it's soft too and comfortable to wear.

Have not done the helmet test but on its own it's the best headwear for cold and wind. The optional mask is lightly lined in fleece which keeps you warm but does not accumulate sweat as fleece tends to do. It fits very snugly with just enough room in the back for me to let my hair out, which is critical for me as I have a ton of thick hair and can never wear those full head hoods. The ear flaps give great coverage but do not obstruct hearing too much. As a person who hates hats, I give this 5 stars.

all and all it's good
Pretty small for a 1 size fits all - I have an average size head but the hat runs a little small while the mask is very tight - maybe it'll stretch out after awhile.

Worth buying at twice the price. Serioulsy
I bought this for work, as I work in a refrigerated warehouse which also contains a freezer section at -10 degrees. This hat/mask keeps me warm all day, 8 hours, sometimes more. One nice feature is that the mask starts above your ears, so they are covered by both the mask material and the top part, 2 layers of protection. For my face I have flip over a small portion of the 'nose' section, but it doesn't make the fit uncomfortable. The mask does collect moisture from breathing, but while you're wearing it you can't really tell, only if you take it off and put it back on. This thing will do exactly what you want and need it to do, don't hesitate to pick one up.

Warm and Snug
Very warm, looks good, full face and neck coverage. Fits a little snug, if you have a large head you may want to pass on this one. Gets pretty wet against the skin if active but dose dry quickly. Not the best in High winds.

Rain, wind, sleet, snow- NO PROBLEM!
Purchased the 2-in-1 headwear just in case it was needed for a new year's eve trip to New York City and it WAS needed! We experienced all weather elements during our trip and kept our faces warm throughout. Just what you need when visiting the Empire State Building on a windy, freezing night!

Quality Product
This 2-in-1 head gear is great! There are 2 things that i really love about this product.
1. Comfortable - this head gear is really comfortable even if you tuck the face mask in to the hat.
2. Windproof - the face mask is really great on windy days b/c the material its made out of really deflects the wind. It makes even the windiest day seem mild when you wear it. I would reccomend this product to anyone who will be in the elements for an extended period of time.

very warm
soft, very warm, face mask is a great touch when the wind is kicking up. My hat size is 6/3/4 to 7", I purchased the black hat it is a little tight but still comfortable. the face mask folds into the hat when not in use. Thought it would be uncomfortable but that is not the case. great product.

Excellent Design
My boys (11 and 12) saw this hat at a store and asked for one. (The mask is very "ninja"). It fits them well. No cold ears. The mask protects their face when sledding and such. They love it! And I don't have to bug them to wear their hat.

Great peice of wears

Great cap
Great cap! Really warm. I purchased it to wear to an NFL game in Cleveland,OH and it really did the trick. I got the black one and it fit kind of tight. Not a problem, though.

Like the hat
I like the hat wear it at work under very cold conditions. The only problem I saw was with the service no email acknowledging that my order was processed which other sites do right away, and shipping was very slow considering where it came from.

Wonderful headwear

Can you be too warm?
Bought this off the website, and I love it. The only problem I have with it is that my ears are too friggin big, so my ear lobes stay a little cold unless I a)pull it down regularly, or b) just use the face mask part, tucking it under my chin when I dont really need it. Its all things carhartt, warm , comfortable, durable, and awesome. The only other problem I have with it is that I wear glasses and hafta remember to exhale through my mouth , or else my lenses fog up .

Great, but a little to snug
This is an awesome hat it is extremly good in cold weather. Had really fast shipping. The only thing wrong with this hat is i have a larger than average head and the hat is a bit to snug it litteraly is skin tight, but as mentioned earlier that might just be the black ones (i did get a black one). Even though it is that tight it is still very comfotable. Other than that i would recomend this to any one living in a colder climate.

Great hat!
I do a lot of traveling to cooler/colder regions of the US - PA, SD, ND, WI, ME and MA to name a few and this hat is perfect.
It's thin enough to stash in a jacket pocket but thick enough to keep my bald head warm.
I purchased all three colors - gray, black and brown. They all fit really well and I have somewhat of a large head. However, the black seems to be a little more snug than the gray and brown. The face mask is a little tight but that is probably because of my large head. It's also nice to be able to tuck the face mask up inside the hat but that does cause a little bit of extra bulk in an already snug fit.
But, all in all, this is a great product. I use it while traveling, fishing, shooting and any other outdoor activity where I need to keep my head and ears warm and still be able to turn my head and see.
I would definitely recommend this product.

GREAT PRODUCT!
I have used the Fleece 2-in-1 Headwear. for all my outdoor activities and it is a wonderful asset to have with the winds we have on the central plains. Protects against wind burn and helps in the heat retention. A WONDERFUL PRODUCT. Purchased several for gifts as well!

Essential equipment
This is a great hat for winter weather, and versitile enough to use in fall and early spring. It doesnt slide up like most knit hats and stays put, yet your able to fold up ear flaps when using the phone or entering buildings, and the face mask that is built in is fantastic in face protection in bad weather. Great design, but need additional color selection other than gray.

One of the Best!!!!!
I tend to work outdoors at times when I'm not plowing snow or directing traffic and this has got to be one of the best purchases I've ever made. The thin material makes it easy to store in a pocket when I'm not using it. Once you put it on the difference is instint. You can tuck the face piece into the top of the hat and wear it as a stocking hat or use the face shield and the hat. Breathing through the material is never a problem and your ears will thank you on the super cold winter days. Well worth the price no matter what it may go for!!!!!!!!

Awesome Product
I tryed some other fleece produts before but never a hat. This one is awesome!!! I have used it in below zero weather snowblowing and can't believe how warm it is. A friend of mine liked it so I got him one for Christmas and he feels the same way. Great job on this one Carhartt!!!!!

Great Hat

Great Product
I bought this hat/ gator for my husband. He wanted something to help cover his neck and face, but regular face masks exposed too much of his face to give him the comfort he needed in extreme cold weather. This winterwear has given him the edge he needs to do what he needs to do safely in cold conditions. I would recommend this product to anyone needing winter protection. It offers a tight, dry fit.
