Carhartt Fleece Beanie

This is an awfully warm beanie. I live in Washington DC, my dome is very average sized, and this is my primary go-to hat for all cold weather. I like it for several reasons; for starters, it doesn't have a lot of volume. This prevents it from being pulled off as frequently while you work in tight spaces, and it will fit in your coat pocket without looking like you're shoplifting a lhasa-apso. The "ear band region" is doubly thick and the fleece is much denser material than the regular carhartt stocking caps, so it keeps the wind out considerably better. The nature of the polyester fleece keeps it from "pilling" up like the standard carhartt cap, so it looks tidy and new for longer. Come to think of it, I've owned two and they've never pilled. The only drawback? Polyester melts and burns. Not that the ordinary acrylic carhartt hats would fare any better, but you might want to think about removing it before your do any tight space pipe sweating, angle grinding overhead surfaces, or passing out with your head in the ashtray.

these are awesome beanies. I had this same carhartt beanie last year and I was really bummed out when I lost it. Now I have my new one and I'm just as happy with it as my old one. Very soft fleece material and keeps my head nice and comfy when its cold.

This beanie is built well. It will last well. I think it's only a little better than the average beanie. The fit is good, but not great. The style is good, but not great.

one size does not fit all

Bought this for my wife as a gift. She unraveled some of it and made a pair of booties for rover but it is still to big for her! Maybe she'll make me a sweater and some socks.

This beanie is FABULOUS! This is one of many beanies from Carhartt that i won't do without! Straight out of the package and on my head it went, with an amazing amount of comfort. These are quite cheap for the quality you have come to expect from Carhartt. I will definitely be purchasing every single color I can find. Even though people at work aren't saying anything, I know they are jealous!

I have to have a green fleece hat for my work (as part of the uniform). So I wear this hat just about every day during the cold season. It definitely does the job of keeping me warm and comfortable during my workday. Thanks!

This beanie is warm and soft, and priced right, but it's very small. I have a small head and it fits very tight, almost too tight. I wish they made it in a larger size. Would not recommend for people with large heads or women with thick hair.

Got this beanie hat for my son and husband. They have complained about hats not covering their ears and riding up. This hat has great coverage and stays put! They love it!
