great heavy shorts Carhartts are the best value in the world and if they suit your style and needs, you can't do better. I bought these for my husband who wears his shorts out all the time working outdoors. He's 6 feet tall, 32 in waist, and they fit great and look good. I don't like the really long or really short ones and neither does he, and these are perfect. He finds these very comfortable and they seem like the same quality as his other carhartt things, which last longer than anything. They're heavier shorts; not for tropical weather; perfect for our shady mountain location, though. January 2, 2012

I lived in them all summer... I learned two years ago to buy Carhartt pants/shorts larger than Levi's or khakis (I wear 34" waisted everything, but buy 36" waisted Carhartt) and it's made all the difference. They fit exactly like I want them too. Slightly loose, but not goofy loose. I have 3 pairs of these and wore them all summer long. After 4 months of Idaho sun, home remodeling, lawn mowing, desert hiking, road trips, golfing, and just sitting around, none of them started to show their age.
