I wear these shorts almost everyday all summer long. The are very durable for construction projects and look great headed out to a summer concert under the stars. The have a great side pocket on the thigh that fits my cell phone perfectly. It's the perfect size, won't fall out. The sizing is dead on. Comfortable without being baggy.

I bought these shorts because I need a pair that were durable and functional. The quality is perfect, I have a 6 month old lab puppy that loves my clothes and these stand up. The pockets are the best I've seen. My Droid X in the cell pocket perfect and so does my leatherman or Swiss champ sak in the tool pocket. Overall I am impressed I've tried different brands of the same style and none offer what these have. I will be buying more of these.

Great for Working Outside

Light enough for working out in heat and humidity. Useful pockets, though missing a coin pocket. Sturdy belt loops. Good for casual use too.

Proper sizing. Soft yet durable material. Lot's of room in the seat and legs for people with large, muscular upper legs. Great selection of pockets. I love these shorts. I wear them to work everyday and I'm a PE teacher.

Finally, the perfect short

My husband is a skinny carpenter (no hips!) who wears a big ol' tool belt and has always struggled finding shorts/pants that wouldn't slide down while he worked. But ever since I ordered the Men's Canvas Work Short, I haven't seen him wear anything else. The fit around the waist is excellent and his shorts no longer slide down. He also likes the length of the short (not too short, not too long). The fit alone is enough reason to buy them, but the added durability of Carhartt items is what really makes this an excellent purchase. I will definitely be ordering him more shorts soon.

We all have the shorts that get a snag and unravel...these burly, tough, durable shorts stand up to it all. Hiking, trips to the zoo, spilled drinks, mud, etc... These shorts are worth the $ and run true to size.

Tough, durable and comfortable. What more could you possibly need from work shorts? My only issue is not having the color I want in my waist size. I'll wait and see.

Great rugged shorts for the jobsite or single-track. Runs a tad small in the waist. Love the cell phone pocket. Color is same as picture. Had mine for over a year now and they still look good.
