I bought these for my son and he loves them. Both my husband and son wear this brand and style for work and love them. This pair was a great price and as always were top quality. The gravel color is a dark gray- great color. They are true to size.

These are the best work pants. I work in the industrial/construction field and so they have to be tough. Regular jeans just hold up as like the washed duck cotton fiber of these pants, and with the double front knee area they are ready for you to try and wear them out. My work areas consist of steel grating, concrete, gravel, and dirt all day everyday and they are comfortable too. So try a pair on today, you will be glad you did.

Try to find a great pair of all day pants for a tall very slender teenager - quite a challenge. That's how I came to buy these pants. I got more than just great fitting pants for my son. These are very durable, comfortable and good looking pants.

I purchased a pair of Carhartt double front dungarees made of 12 ounce material. They are very tough material and fit quite well. After recieving them and inspecting the quality I plan to order an additional pair or two. I am 6'4", 180 pounds, and in my young 70's. I work outside everyday summer and winter and appreciate the toughness of the jeans, especially the double knees. I recommend these trousers for anyone that need or requires a good quality outdoor wear. Regards, Bear

These pants are awesome. I have several pair because it takes years to wear them out. I am 6'2" 170lbs and 32X32 fits perfectly. They fit a little looser to allow movement which is nice. I did notice on the last pair that they seemed a little big until the first wash and then they fit like a glove.

My hubby loves these pants. The fact they come in an in-between size (35), makes a huge difference for him. Not too big/not too small in the waist. They are durable which is needed in his line of work (new construction/service plumber) and, having the double front for the knee pads is a must! An overall great work pant!

For me, these are the best work pants available. I am notoriously rough on clothes and I don't expect anything I wear to work in to last more than a year. These pants are built tough and I have had several pairs last 3-4 years, and within the first few months, they fit like a glove, allowing movement where needed; the double knees are indispensable for longer life and protection. I only wish they were made in the USA. I'd be willing to pay the extra bit to support American workers. For that I give a 4 star for quality.

As advertised, these double fronted Carhartt's are up to the task. The size is true to fit, color well represented off the web, and durable. I've used them to clear the thorn bush in the fields which easily penetrates the standard Carhartt work pants, not so with these. Size is slightly small but otherwise true.

I bought these pants because I work in thickly vegetated areas where briar and prickers are a serious issue. With the help of the double-front i've made my day much easier and less painful. Very comfortable fit...pants that can handle a hard days work.

I have been using these pants for over five years now as a slate roofer. Not the same pair mind you, but the durability on the double leg will last at least two or three seasons. Fit is true and when fully broken in very comfortable. Pant colour will fade significantly over time so be warned.

Carhartt: high quality work wear

First off i want to say that Altrec is a fantastic company to deal with, best customer service around , hands down!! I have been wearing Carhartt work wear since the late 70's. The Carhartt double front washed duck work dungaree's are very heavy in weight but very comfortable to wear and move in, squat, bend, walk , ECT. I have 4 pair's of these that i have had for about nine years, and yeh there a little faded but still in great shape, no tears or rips in them what so ever. Im 6' 1'' and weigh about 215 pounds and wear 35+34. Thats one thing thats nice is these dungaree's come in a waist size of 35, Most pants only come in even sizes for waist. I will always wear carhartt work pants and always buy them from Altrec. For those of you looking for high quality work pants Carhartt is the way to go. Thanks for your time , Jeff in Ohio

I got these pants for my boyfriend and he loves them. The size is a true fit. He always wears a size 30 waist with a 31 or 32 inseam. If I ordered a size or so smaller I believe they would be a nice fit for me as well. They don't seem quite as bulky as some of the men's Carhartt pants. So, women I think you may find luck in these as well, if you have trouble with the women's sizes.

Heavy duty pant that was built to last.....fits pretty true to size. Plan on wearing these with a baseline underneath because I work in cold weather so I ordered a size bigger in the waist and was happy with it.

Rugged Durability

I have been buying these pants for years for one reason: they just won't fall apart. I don't know how Carhartt does it, but whatever it takes wear these pants out, I don't have it. I have been buying this model for years, and the first pairs may be thin in parts, but the stitching seems indestructible. They're worth about 5 pairs of Levis.

I am about as white-collar as you can get but I had to get these pants. And, I love them. They are definitely durable and tough. A little "starchy" at first but they break right in. My wife doesn't really like them but I can't imagine doing work around the house without them. They make me feel like a "real" man.

Carhartt pants. They have earned a name for themselves and they are pretty consistent in their product. These pants are my favorite. Comfortable, roomy, classy (where I'm from), and pretty close to the sizing stated. I really like the organization of the pockets. The one on the left leg is perfect for my cell phone and the ones on the right leg are perfect size for pens, a small notebook, and a knife.

These are great pants for riding because they provide a little more protection than jeans and have a little more class. I can wear these to work without a problem and they're very comfortable too with a nice roomy fit that's true-to-size. Got a great price from Altrec after I couldn't find them in any stores near me.

I work in mining and there is really only one pair of pants that I wear and that's the Carhartt Double Fronts. Although not crazy flattering for us skinny guys (hence the 'fits large' fit descriptor) but they last a long time in the muck and the mire. Although admittedly single fronts are the way to go in the 100+ temps in the summer here in the southwest.

Had them one week so far but if they wear like my other Carhartts I expect it will be a while before any issues pop up. These fit just like the regular pants, the only thing I would say is an issue is the rivets that hold the top corners on touch the skin and allow transference of cold from the outside directly to your legs.

Fantastic pants, great for work or casual dress. Here in Wyoming, these pants are perfect for everything...work, play, even eating out at the best steak houses anywhere. Enjoyed the selection at Altrec, most stores do not carry as wide a variety of colors in the most popular sizes. Great pants, great prices!!

Being in the construction for years,Carhartts is a brand name known throughout the industry for its good fit and toughness.New,you could even wear them to church.The first thing I do is spray them with Scottbrite,they don't pickup dirt so readily and I could warn you not to wash them so much.

These pants are excellent. The duck-washed fabric makes them extra soft and comfortable and a lot more supple than the canvas. I would highly recommend these pants to others.

As a farm hand, my clothes get worked beyond imagination, in every kind of weather, all conditions, with livestock and machinery and produce. I quickly wore through some of the "other" brands until a friend directed me to Carhartt. I have never looked back, and never worn anything since. Nearly indestructible.
