I bought this jacket for my guy friend as a birthday present. He is a car mechanic and also owns 2 motorcycles so I knew I wanted to get him something that could take a beating- meaning it could stand up to wind, rain, snow on his motorcycle rides as well as hold up for all the hard labor my friend does at work and at home on his motorcycle. I could only think of Carhartt to meet my needs! Well, I was not disappointed, the shell of the jacket is rugged, helps keep out wind and rain and is perfect for layering to adjust to the various outdoor conditions. My friends loves it and wears it to work and on motorcycle runs! And all at a great price- thanks Altrec!

Bought this for work, and it fits the part. Pretty warm, very durable. Only complaint is the elastic at the bottom. From what I hear, most people like this feature, but it gets annoying bending over and having the jacket ride up (jacket fits fine). Overall good product though. By the way, I'm 6'4, 200lbs. I got a L Tall. Hope that helps.

Husband loves it! Fits perfectly and allows for movement! Bought this Jacket for his fishing trip in the Mtns because it was going to be cold but he needed a jacket that would also allow for some breathing room. When he got it, he said it would be perfect and wore it around the house for the rest of the day!

This jacket is a great value for the price. Its good for Bay Area weather, including rain. WInd just rolls off of it. Not quite as warm as the quilted but more versatile for layering.

Great all purpose jacket, I own the Carhartt Duck Ridge Jacket as well and I am equally stoked! The material is rather stiff at first but after a few washes and wear it breaks in gradually

Not waterproof but one heck of a jacket. Had it for 2 years and does not look like new but sure acts like it. Keeps the cold air out. Even at +40 mph

I purchased this jacket for my husband for Christmas, he loves it very warm and true and true to size. This is not the first Car hart jacket have purchased however it is has the best quality. My husband works outside a lot and he could move around very easy.

Perfect for my needs

I just went camping at the coast and it was very wet, windy and cold. This jacket was perfect for those conditions. It's light weight but heavy enough to keep me warm. Since it is so light I wouldn't recommend it for snowy weather, although I was able to wear a hoodie underneath the jacket for those extra chilly nights. It's very comfortable and looks good too! It is definitely my new favorite and I highly recommend it.

I purchased the Men's Duck Active Jacket - Thermal Lined. I bought this for my 21 year old son for work. He is 225 lbs and 6' 2". Fits true to size and very pleased with the product. I ordered this coat in a tall which is a great thing that this is offered. It is made very well. This stitching is very durable. The fabric used for this jacket holds up extremely well . It is water proof and wind proof. This coat is exactly as described in the description which is extremely rare with many products. It is light weight yet keeps him warm. The zipper is heavy duty metal not cheap plastic that could break quickly. I would recommend this coat to anyone looking for great quality at a great price.

These jackets are field tested and will withstand anything you can dish out. I'll only wear Carhartt because they're durable, comfortable and a great value. It has kept me comfortable down to 30 degrees at the jobsites. Find the best prices for all Carhartt gear at Altrec, that's for sure!

Great jacket but I should of stayed with a large, not a large tall. Keep in mind if you're going to be wearing anything under it. Overall its a good durable work jacket.
