Made for tough jobs in cold weather, the Carhartt Men's Duck Detroit Jacket with the Blanket Lined interior, will keep you warm and hold up to heavy duty use. Made from their 12-ounce cotton duck fabric, this outdoor jacket will feel stiff at first, but after some wear and tear and few washings, will start to feel a little more broken in. The body has a blanket lining for warmth and the sleeves have a smooth nylon lining for easy on-and-off and for a less bulky feel. The classic corduroy collar has snaps for attaching the add-on hood you can buy separately. An inside pocket keeps your phone or other electronics safe and warm enough to work and 3 outside zippered pockets hold other small items. Cuffs and hem have snap adjustments for the perfect fit that seals out icy breezes. From a 9-5er to a backyard tinkerer, Carhartt Blanket Lined Duck Detroit Jacket for men is the work jacket of choice for hard working men.

Need clothing that wears like iron? Need stuff that won't shrink? This is it. I got one of these jackets for my son who wears out EVERYTHING and it lasted for two whole years. He wears it constantly, even in the summer and I'm amazed at how long it has held up. The blanket lining finally gave way but the exterior is still going strong. My only beef is that the black color faded more than I thought it would and the jacket turned a strange shade of greenish black over time. Maybe washing it alone (which the label recommends) and using vinegar to color fast it might help... My personal jacket has lasted for almost two decades and I still love it. The fit seems pretty normal. I wear a 44 sport jacket and got a 46 Carhartt and it's been fine.

Material was a little stiff right out of the package, but it started to soften after just a few hours of wear. Fit is true to size - Medium is perfect fit for 40 chest and 32 waist. Nice roomy sholders and back allowing for free movement. Blanket lining is a bit lighter than another Carhart I have with the insulated artic lining. Makes it good for days when the temps are moderate.

The fit is great. easy mobility while wearing it, the zipper is in such a way that it keeps wind from coming in. worn the ducks for years and love them!

These jackets are great and Altrec ships fast. wear them for anything and wash them every night if you want. I work in civil construction and have used these for 2 decades now. i like the new quilted sleeves too, makes for comfortable wearing when you have a t-shirt on.

I was looking for a jacket very sturdy and warm. It is just as I expected. I feel a little stiff, but very durable. And it's very warm without being too bulky, seems to be nice at outdoors. It arrived quickly and is just as I need it. I think it's better to purchase with a hood accessory.

It's ok, but not great. The canvas is very heavy duty, but the dye they use fades quickly. Ive washed it twice and it's noticeably faded. I'd also prefer they used a real wool blanket for the liner as its not very warm

These jackets are great; though as nails, and they fit well. I gave 4 stars vs. 5 because I'm a fit guy with no belly and this jacket has some extra room in the middle that it could do without. Still, the waist fits nice and the shoulders too.
