Product is not what I had expected. Although I am sure that it will serve the purpose well for what it was intended I had expected the hood to hang looser at the back when pulled off the head instead the hood seems to ride high and not lay down. When the product is broken in maybe this will solve problem but at this time I will be purchasing the snap on hood to complete the jacket.
Pros: durability effective cold and wind deterrent., Cons: rides high on back of head when pulled offWrite a review for the Carhartt Duck Hood w/ Kint Collar - Quilted Flannel Lined here.
Keeping me toasty
February 12, 2012
My job has me living outdoors about 160 days a year and obviously some of those days are cold and wet. I chose this hood to keep me warm on those less than perfect days. It blocks the wind well, is extremely durable, I can dry it by the fire without it melting (big plus) and it provides me the option to bring layers that don't already have hoods. The hood actually extends a bit in front of my face which helps keep the elements at bay. The collar is akin to the turtleneck so it is warm, but if you don't like the close fit on your neck this would not be for you. I'm fashion clueless so I don't care that it doesn't match my jacket as long as I'm COMFY.
Pros: tough as nails, warm as toast, Cons: doesn't match most jacketsDid you recently buy the Carhartt Duck Hood w/ Kint Collar - Quilted Flannel Lined? Write a review.
