No snow yet, but trying it on it is warm, not bulky/easy to move around in, excellent quality. Runs large, measure 6'2" and the tall was about 6 inches too long.

I have a Carhartt coverall, regular, quilt-lining and it's a size 46 which fits great and some room for layering. I'm 5'10 and close to 200 pounds..the 46 reg in the Extremes model could probably fit in someone twice my size and still be able to zip it up !!! The sizing for that product has got NOTHING to do with the rest of the Carhartt sizing chart so be very carefull when ordering. As far as the quality of the product, it's just great..too bad it's so hard to find the right size.

I work outside and it often gets down to 7 degrees! These keep me dry and warm with only a pair of pants and long sleeve underneath!!! Truly amazing protection against the 45-60 mph winds that are normal in the mountains! These are the best purchase I have made in years!!! They do tend to run a little big but it's okay if you plan on wearing jeans or a lightweight sweatshirt underneath.

Pros: Great design, Build quality, Lasts forever, Performance, Ease of use, Great value

Love Carhartt products!

I purchased this suit for my grandson. Carhart always makes quality merchandise. This suit is synthetic; but my grandson is a welder so I returned this one and order the cotton version.

one of the best products from carhart, fit perfectly and are very warm and comfortable. Other brands are not as insulated and require wearing heavier clothing with them. This is the second pair of Carhartt coveralls I've purchased in a couple of years and these were less expensive. I was very happy with this selection and especially the price and quality of the garment.

shorter with more room for the belly
October 28, 2013

Haven't tried them in severe cold yet, but these appear like they will be the warmest coveralls that I have ever had. The only way these could be better is if there was a shorter, fatter size option. I know, go on a diet! That said, these are the best fit I have ever been able to order. Highly recommended.

Carhartt Arctic Lined Coverall X06
December 14, 2011

This item is wonderfully designed with heavy duty zippers, plentiful room in the pockets and seat and they're black to boot. They do seem to run a little large for those in warmer parts of the country who normally don't wear a lot of winter clothing. I'll be using them for the motorcycle ride on cooler days in Texas. Be sure to check online with carhartt for proper fit instructions.

versatile & warm
March 26, 2011

i got the carhartt extremes coverall for motorcycling in cold weather. It's a terrific piece of gear because it's a full body suit that provides great wind protection and it's warm as heck. I wear the coveralls over everything: the buttons on the trouser legs help me get in & out without taking off my boots, and it's roomy enough that I can wear a jacket or vest on my upper body if I want.

nice product. Should be warm this winter. If wearing over clothes, buy several sizes larger. Only owed it for a few weeks now, so not really sure how it will wear, but other Carhardt items wear well.

Great Product and Retailer
November 09, 2009

It hasn't been real cold here yet to give these a real test, but have owned many Carhartt coveralls before and can tell these are definitely a step up in quality. They fit well and should do me a good job since I spend a lot of time outdoors on the farm. Altrec handled my order promptly and the item was received on-time. Fed Ex driver messed up and left my package at a neighbor's house and I only found it by tracking on line and when I saw it "was delivered" (wrong) I called. Ended up talking to the driver and he described the house he left it at. Not Altrec's fault but they are probably interested in Fed Ex performance for future contract negotiations. All said and done, I would buy from Altrec again.
