I own 9 and would not buy any other hoodie. Carhartt clothes are the best. True to size. The heavy weight is the warmest I have ever worn. I would recommend the entire carhartt collection.

I bought this sweatshirt for my boyfriend and he absolutely LOVES it. It's a loose/relaxed fit which seems to be perfect for a guy who detests wearing anything snug. It's very heavy duty - all the quality and warmth you would expect from Carhartt.

These heavy weight sweatshirts from Carhartt are a solid basic. They are the hooded sweatshirts that we wish they would all be like in our imagination. Mostly cotton, heavy weight, well made, and comfy anytime fit. It's tough to find classic styles like these on a quality and weight level we all picture in our mind. These are great for working out, tinkering in the garage, lounging around at home, or throwing on for that dog walk. Didn't like the embroidered labeling on the kangaroo pocket though. I am not into being a brand billboard.

last year I couldn't find a hoodie for my grandson in his size. He's a big guy. Found his size. (3x, Tall) He's getting it for Christmas. Carheartt is a good brand and have had good results for this brand and the price was good.

Best Quality I Have Found

Purchased the Carhartt Heavyweight Hooded Sweatshirt for my husband for Christmas. We were both delighted with the quality and weight of the sweatshirt. He is over 70 years old and had never tried on a hooded sweatshirt but I wanted one for him to help keep his neck and head warm both inside and outside of the home during the cold winter. Thought he would be more comfortable reading and on the computer to have the hood. However, he opted to make it easier getting on and off and has opted to exchanage it for the mock version with an 8-inch zipper. He felt if he was younger he would just keep the hoodie without the zipper but better liked the zipper option so he could vent the sweatshirt if he gets too hot. Carhartt is the only shirts I will get for him in the future due to the high quality of product.

Great hoodie and warm. Its not to thick but I wear it at temperatures of zero or below and it lets me work and keep me from freezing to death. I warn you about ordering tall sizes, I am 6ft 5inch tall so ordered the tall size and hangs low over my waist and the sleeves are long, but I like the roomy fit.

My husband works outside and even in the south we have pretty chilly mornings. He has a heavier jacket but he prefers this hoodie because it allows for better movement. As always Carhartt makes exceptional products. And Altrec definitely had the best prices!

My husband is 6'4" and every sweatshirt I buy him shrinks and looks way to little. If I order a bigger size it is made for much heavier guys even though it is one size larger. Carhartt always makes heavy duty clothes and when I saw that they had tall sizes I was thrilled and even more thrilled when it arrived and was for "tall" guys and not "big and tall". I will buy again!

Carhartt makes a very strong, long lasting sweatshirt. It does seem that over the past few years, the heavyweight has become a little lighter. Will still purchase in the future.

I love this sweatshirt! It's soft, warm and the front pocket is huge. I'm planning a trip in the Rockies and this will be perfect for staying warm while hiking. It fits underneath my leather coat, so I can layer my clothes using it. Perfect for people who work and play outdoors!
