I bought this for my son-in-law for Christmas and he was thrilled. I do not like to shop and especially for men's clothes and this was wonderful. Look for it, order it, ship to door, and wrap. This is my kind of Christmas shopping. I will definately order from Altrec again. Thanks.

It's a great work jacket at a great price. Can't beat Carhartt gear and you won't find it this cheap. I use this all year round. It's not water or wind proff, but it does a great job keeping me dry and warm. I'd definitely reccomend this jacket to everyone. It does fit a size too large, so while I usually buy large clothes, the medium fits me the best.

This is the third one of these jackets I have owned. I work outside this is one of the warmest and toughest jackets that you can buy. The only bad thing is that debris stick (sawdust) to the lining.

What I expected and more!

Most already know about the quality of the Carhart coats. What I didn't know was the variety of styles and features. I found exactly what I needed. I ordered a size bigger since most coats tend to run small. I returned for my regular size. The turnaround time was amazing, as well as the stock on hand, considering this was after Christmas. And free shipping. When comparing the prices and variety online with store prices, Altrec beats them, hands down. As for durability and warmth, I couldn't ask for much more. I give them a 5++++ for their products and service.

I ordered a jacket for a gift but it was not quite the one he wanted. Altrec handled the return and sending out the correct Carhartt jacket seamlessly and informing me about shipping, refunding procedure, etc. The quality merchandise from Carhartt and the quality service from Altrec makes this a winning combination for me. I just received my jacket and it is exactly what I ordered. This jacket is typical Carhartt. Tough, well constructed and designed for long life; just like other Carhartt products that I have had the pleasure to own. As other reviewers indicated it is not water repellent so I treated the outside with a water repellent spray. Now water just runs off when put under a faucet so it should repel rain and snow with no problem. I've purchased several products from Altrec and as always Altrec continues to offer great products at a great price and their customer service is excellent. Thanks Altrec!

warm, tough jacket

I have worn this jacket to work just about everyday for the last 6 years before the fabric wore out. It fits large but that makes it easy to move in. The new jacket seems to still have the same quality as my old one. Should get another 6 years out of it. Only draw back to the jacket is it will get be wet in a heavy down pour.

VERY NICE, HIGH QUALITY JACKET. JUST WHAT I WAS LOOKING FOR. I DIDNT NOTICE THE OPTION FOR TALL THOUGH. I ORDERED IT IN TALL INSTEAD OF REGULAR AND THE ARMS AND LENGTH WERE A LITTLE LONG. EXCELLENT JACKET THOUGH

I've been buying this particular coat for my drivers for years. They prefer this jacket because it's short, so it doesn't ride up on them, and it's tough and thick. They get about 3 years out of each one before there worn out. It keeps out the cold and the wind, but it's not waterproof.

I bought three of these wonderful jackets after talking to a construction guy who had his for 20 years and decided to buy one for me and my two adult sons. Both liked the jacket as much as I did. Warm, tough and windproof. great for working out doors or just for running the store in those cold days or nights.

Jacket is true to size, med fits well for 5'8" 165 lbs. It's a warm & durable work/casual jacket. I wasn't sure if I would like the hood but it's a good thing to have when it's cold & windy. Overall a great purchase!

Great coat, carhartt durable quality, would def recommend to others sizing is true, possibly a little larger than actual size which is nice I will use this coat for any cold outdoor events, most durable coat found to date, great pricing from altrec!

Cannot comment on durability of the jacket yet, but overall very pleased with purchase. Has provided good wind and show resistance. Does seem to fit large for listed size.

great jacket, solidly built. Fits large but that's good for easy movement. I wore my last one everyday for work for 6 years before I wore out the fabric. Only draw back is it does not shed heavy rain

I don't shop online much but my grandson wanted a Carhartt jacket. He is 6'4" and all the one in the stores did not fit correctly so we looked on line for tall sizes. He especially liked the dark brown color which wasn't easy to find. Your co. had the color & tall sizes, ordering was easy and shipping speedy. It fits perfect, thank you!!

I purchased this jacket for my husband who works outside in the elements'. My only regret is that I didn't purchase it earlier in the season. HE LIKES THE WARMTH, COMFORT AND DURABILITY!!! I highly recommend this jacket to anyone that works outside in the cold, rain, sleet or snow.

I'm 6' 180lbs. Chest 44", waist 33'. Jacket was a good fit except for the elasticated bottom which was baggy. I like mine to be tight to stop the wind blowing up onto my lower back. Guess the large is designed for a bigger person. Sent it back so I can't comment on the jacket's durability.
