I bought this coat for my husband, who works outside. First, I was amazed at the deal I got through Altrec and was worried about the quality of the product. Once I received the coat though, I found that I got more than my moneys worth! It is very warm without being bulky, and made of very durable fabric. My husband doesn't have to wear a lot of layers of clothes to stay warm in this coat, and he's able to move around without feeling restricted. I can see he is going to get many years of wear from this coat! I would definately recommend this coat!

This jacket lives up to the Carhartt name. Keeps you warm with a spacious hood with great overall durability. I am in a out of the cold throughout my workday. This works perfectly for my needs.

VERY NICE Jacket

This is my first Carhartt purchase and I am sold! After debating on an everyday jacket to use for everything from casual wear to working around the house, I decided on the Sandstone Active Jacket. The outer shell is very relaxed and flexible and comfortable enough to wear anywhere. The inner thermal liner has been very warm during this years frigid temps. It's worked well in the wind and rain as well and I've had several compliments on the style and feel. I would and have recommended this jacket to several friends and family and plan on purchasing a second jacket for my son.

This is a great coat, and I lucked out with a great sale on this Carharrt jacket. It's rugged and has a great hood. There's no way the wind is getting through this fabric. Easy to move in while working, which was very important. There are several convenient pockets. Zipper seems very durable. Thanks for the great deal, Altrec!

I own a Carhartt Sandstone coat with the Sherpa lining. It is terrific for the colder temps. I especially like the look of the sandstone (camel). I wanted a 2nd shorter jacket for temps in the 40s - 50s. This thermal lined Carhartt jacket works great. And I get the same sandstone outer look. Great shopping experience through Altrec.

ZIPPERS...GREAT AND DURABLE..CUFFS AND WAISTBAND...COMFORTABLE, AND SNUG, BUT NOT TOO SNUG..INTERIOR POCKETS CAN HOLD A BLACKBERRY CURVE, CALCULATOR AND NOTEPAD (SMALL SIZE) PLUS LOTS MORE..THERE ARE TWO POCKETS, ONE IS ZIPERED ACROSS THE TOP, AND MY REGULAR BIFOLD WALLET FIT IN THERE WITHOUT AN ISSUE...THE THERMAL LINING IS SMOOTH, AND FEELS FINE EVEN IN A T-SHIRT...
