Finally what I have been looking for

My son is a field researcher and wanted/needed a pair of overalls. I had bought two different pairs and neither fit right or was what he needed. Found you on the web. He put them on Christmas morning and LOVED them. Appreciate the reinforced knees and especially that they had a zipper in the front. Worth every penny. I am sure I will be getting him another pair for when these are in the wash.

Workhorse overalls

My husband wears these everyday. Stands up to all of his abuse. His only complaint was that the bib wasn't cut even on both sides. Otherwise, another solid item fro Carhartt.

get the sandstone bibs, and you'll won't want to wear anything else. Very soft. Durable. Look good. People are always very happy to see grown men in overalls.

Excellent Bibs

Bought these bibs for my boyfriend for Christmas and he loves them. As a contractor, he works outside often, so these bibs keep him dry, the knee pad inserts are "awesome" and the material hasn't ripped with heavy use. Since they are Carhartt, they do size small so make sure to go up 2 sizes from your normal pant size if you wear clothes under them. Great product!

Great bib! I use these cutting, bucking, splitting, and stacking timber. They look great and fit well. When ordering, get a size larger on both the waist (chances are you'll have a layer on underneath) and inseam (to make sure the pant leg rests on the top of the boot, not dangling around the ankle). Altrec sent the product as they said they would. Great company! I'll certainly be back.

Team Fortress 2 Engineer

I haven't worn overalls since I was 4 years old, even though I worked in construction for a couple of years. I ended up buying these to put together a Halloween costume as the Engineer from Team Fortress 2. As soon as I tried them on I learned three things...A.) Overalls are RIDICULOUSLY comfortable. I can't believe I never got any while I worked in construction. B.) These particular overalls are excellent quality. I'm pretty sure I could ride out a nuclear fallout in them. C.) They're perfect for an Engineer costume as they're just the right color. It's kind of an obscure costume, but a lot of people caught on right away.

So, I live abroad and my wife and I were in the States for a month or so seeing family. I've been needing to get a pair of cover/overalls for a while -- something I could pull over my clothes for when I need be go to our stove room to build/stoke the coal fire (sorry Altrec, but it's how we heat where we live!). I needed something durable and these Carhartt overalls fit the bill. Unfortunately, most other sites and every single store I visited were at least $20 more expensive (in stores, at least $40 more expensive). When I found Altrec's price, needless to say, I pulled the trigger and couldn't be happier with the product, the price, and the service.

I like Carhartt products, and these overalls are consistent with the brand's good reputation. They fit slightly small in the inseam, and the quality of construction is not as high as some of their more expensive products. However, they are good value and have proven very durable so far.

These fit EXACT and are extremley comfortable! The hardware and pockets are well thought out. I have washed them and have experienced zero shrinkage. A bargin at any price they are so well made! Shiping from Altrec was lightning fast!
