Description
Built to weather the cold, our sandstone waist overall features a 100% nylon lining quilted to midweight polyester insulation. The overall is made of 12-ounce, 100% cotton sandstone duck, sits slightly below the natural waist, and is cut with a full seat and thigh. Chap style double-front panels add durability, and the double knees have cleanout bottoms to accommodate knee pads. There are Cordura® kick panels at the leg openings, reinforced back pockets, and triple-stitched main seams.

Just What I Wanted...

I love the carhartt bib overalls, and pretty much live in them all winter. But sometimes you need something without bibs, and this is them. A bonus feature that the bibs don't have is a reinforced heel cuff (this is always the first spot to show wear). You can't go wrong with a carhartt product.

Very tough

These pants seem built to last. Done some heavy duty outdoor work in them over the last couple of weeks - they keep me plenty warm and have been nicked countless times by tree limbs showing no sign of wear. For tough warm pants for outdoor work, a guy buy.

KEEPING WARM....

What I like is the easy on and off as compared to the Bib coverall and all the loops and pockets to store my smaller gear(wallet,pocket knife etc). Most of all the quilted lining that keep my legs warm in the cold wind. The material seems to be very durable only time will tell. The leg openings zippers are well covered preventing the wind from entering. Over all these pants were a good buy....

Great pants to wear during cold weather

Bought these pants to wear while working outdoors in cold weather. They are very comfortable to wear in my job as I am a tree climber. Carhartt has great a great quality in clothing. Will continue to buy this product

warm without the straps ...

I've used the Sherpa for years (Antarctica), and this is the first time I've had the opportunity to use their midweight "overall" (Greenland Ice Sheet) I liked the fit ... accommodated my mid-weight poly-pro with ease, and when the going got cold, I could still wear my puffy-pants underneath without feeling too big. The snaps sometimes would un-snap, and the outer fabric is not as water-resistant as their Extreme ... but for the most part, the dry snow of Greenland made these nuisances less noisome. Overall, I would recommend these "overalls" to anyone who works in cold climates but hates shouldering the burden of warmth on your shoulders!

The coat wasn't offered at all Carhart dealers and it is a soft jacket that is a work jacket but it looks good enough to wear every day. It was so easy to order and the website lets you look closely.
