I like the fit, and that it has a large, easy to use front zipper. It's warm and protective in the East wind. When getting the firewood, it's abrasion resistant.

Wouldn't call it a winter jacket
Too thin to be a winter jacket, and the material on the outside is anything but soft. I got it very cheap so I can't really complain.

Sizing runs large - typical of carhartt
very nice jacket, i returned it to get the size down. i highly recommend getting a size smaller. if you have other carhartt jackets you can compare with them, however this one runs quite large even carhartt style...

great all around
Very comfortable jacket and true to size. Great casual jacket. Wouldn't want to use it everyday as a real work jacket but does excellent around town.

Great Winter Jacket
I purchased it in Black 2XL, I normally wear a 48L/50R and it fits me great! I wore it hunting in Northern Minnesota in mid-November with only a sweatshirt under it, and it is the only jacket I have worn the rest of the winter in D.C. Great against the cold, wind and rain. I have washed it at home 4 or 5 times with no fading or ill effects so far. Great Jacket!!

It's a great-looking
It's light, soft, providing enough wind-breaking warmth. I like its design and water-repellant outer material.

All 'round great choice
Great styling, blocks wind, water repellent. Sized the same as other Carhartt jackets, but a little bit longer. Very lightweight, doesn't wrinkle, could pass for a semi-dress jacket. Not sure it will wear as well as their more rugged clothing, but a nice softshell.
